Database sorting
Is there a way to sort Port Database alphabetical?
I know i can sort on "Most recent" most downloaded and so on, but not alphabetical.
Also I know some favourited ports like Skyrim and AlterIVnet are popular, but do they have to be on top of every search or sort, isn't the front page and that it pops up first when you press the database?
"bad" ports
Also is there a way to report ports marked green, that's not green at all, e.g. games ported with engines that simply can't work on OSX, most ports here are very good, but I believe that some often just wanna get ports up and doesn't really test them at all.
I'm not talking about ports that perhaps work on one system, and not on another, but ports where simply sound doesn't work because porter have used an engine where sound is broken (wine 1.3.25->1.3.34), or forgot to install XAudio.dlls which game requires or things like this.
Database étiquette
Also I've seen a lots of new ports that is just small modifications of an older port, without adding something new.
Do we need to have a port of the same game with Cider 5290 and 5413, which are pretty much identical?
I can understand a wineskin+cider port or, an old cider 2xxx port updated to 5/6/7xxx or a Wineskin 2.0RC updated to 2.5.
It just seems unnecessary and flooding the database, If i was to upload all the games I've modified or rebuilt I'd have over 80 ports up by now.
Don't get me wrong, I do upload games that are broken on 10.7 or fixes serious issues, but I wouldn't upload a game that is function just ok, but I would PM the original porter if there was a small thing that could improve the port.

1. Click on the "custom" field there you can sort things as you wish.
Mw2 will get unpinned now, but so far skyrim will stay for the time being. Half of our visitors come for skyrim.
2. For bad ports, give them a one Star rating. If nobody rates ports itch this criteria, then nothing will happen.
3. Number three is hard to solve. Currently with the PDB being empty, it wrong matter so much. Of course, 3 or 4 wrappers of the same type for the same game by the same person is too much.

1. Ah thanks, I didn't realize the custom was a drop down menu
2. Well the rating system is broken, I once saw a port of mine getting 1 star before it even was downloaded, and I've tested that one on both 10.6 and 10.7 with both nvidia and intel and it was 100% on both, so I guess some just rate because they doesn't like the game or smthin'

Download numbers are only updated once or twice a day and star ratings are on the spot , so it's possible that this will cause some confusion.
Still, nothing preventing me or anyone else rating things down.
