Is there a way to upload images so I can use my signature? There is no way to upload images for it so what is the attachments for?

Attachments are currently disabled on this system, as they also were on phpBB.
There are a few exceptions, like in the port database of the Background image of the profiles.
Use photobucket or imgur to upload your sig for example.
