ok so sorry if if posted this in the wrong place i am new to this whole porting thing but i have a question hopefully someone can answer for me. i just download Crysis 2 and i think it said some where that it was a CiderX port but the problem is that my video card is not supported and when i try to play the game it gives me some really weird lag of some sort and i was wondering if there was a way to get it supported so to speak.

Usually porting heavy games like this game, skyrim, cod mw3, borderlands, etc, eventually its gonna have a lag into it because of our graphic card. unless you have a 2010 iMac. this detailed is meant by FPS (Framerate per second) I believe?

Hmm, it may be the cider, try using wineskin instead, its compatible to 10.7

i am sorry to say this but i did not put it together my self i downloaded it and it was already put together. so how do i use Wineskin can you point me in the direction of a tutorial. because i would really love to get this game to work

Well, first most tutorials wont really help you cuz crysis 2 is a heavy game. you probably need to get a professional porter to help you, im not a professional, im like a medium porter, nothing big, but i try my best to help people out. The chart give a clue, but it's not always true.
Mass Effect 3 in normal Wineskin, does only work on 10.6, I needed to patch and custom build wine to make it work on 10.7.
Several Cider versions do work on 10.4 too, but some need 10.6.8 and higher..

Im no professional on cider, I use wineskin so im trying my best to help. If I cant help you, its best for you to download a cider wrapper from PortDB

I have an wineskin wrapper but if you want to quit from game in menu it will crash

you mean the error message if you run the game (i have it too but my crysis run great (except of glowing errors)

my crysis 2 crashes after i finish the first mission and when i try to load my game it crashes again i have a nividia GeForce 9m, can anyone help?

It means a lot. It is basically like the Advanced option in Wineskin, except that it is split up into different apps.
To answer your original question, there is no way to get it supported (As much as I know) since you can't upgrade or replace your current Macbook card, but in the event that you have an iMac you could replace it with another card (I'm not too sure if you can do that on the iMac). Also, using Cider or Wineskin doesn't change much if your card is unsupported. Sure it can increase performance but that's only if the card is supported. If it's not, then well.

Can't you just use the cider port made by razorpro?  It would run really well on your system....

i have same graphics cad as wMin17 and runs great on my graphics card 1080x800 or whatever it is if i put on 1720x120 or whatever it is it run way better
