did you try going to your second video  processor witch you can select via the system preferences witch in your case would be the Intel HD Graphics my class mate had this problem a few weeks ago and it help till apple replaced his laptop

Using just the Intel card it doesn't crash, but that's not really a solution. Either way, the macbook is with Apple now.

before you sent your laptop in I hope you took a backup since sometimes they wipe the drive and also the time it takes to replace a logic board on a mac book is about 3h if you've never done it before so they probably have your computer on a shelf at the back waiting for the part to come in

But, please, wait. There's tons of stuff to be done. As you can see in the last screenshot, the client loses authentication (which it never had - lulz!)
So, anyone good at reversing? I'd like to find out how the 6 hex digit auth key is generated at every launch, or clean up all the checks. Who can help?
I don't think I can find this on my own, I've already patched one check but they could be countless.

If no one offers to help, I'm afraid this project will die.

Launchers doesn't work in cider at all.

It's not an incompatibility with wine. As you can see from the screenshots the game actually runs fine in wineskin. The problem is that the executable needs to be launched with a -HEXX=FFFFFF command line option, which I can't figure out how it's generated by the launcher although I reversed most of its code. I tried to disassemble the game's exe and removed a check that is done on launch for this, and it worked, as I managed to launch the game. But if you try to type in your username another check is triggered somewhere and the game quits. And I'm not even sure if it's going to manage to log in to servers without it. I could try, but the second problem is that I can't find where the second (random) check is done.

I think the check comes from the server. I managed to find the second check and remove that as well. The game doesn't quit anymore, but I can't connect to the server to login, as probably for the server my client is not registered. So back to square one, I'm gonna give it another try to figure out how the value is being generated.
