Remove liking your own topic / post?

Well, people think the (like) button is important and thinking its a competitive thing to do like if someone has the highest rep points win. Its annoying how people like their own post / topic.


I remembers working with IPB and there is a way to prevent people from doing this like an option called "Allow people to like their own topic" I believe.

Yep, it's true, there was this setting.  I disabled it now.  Needless to say that if I catch anyone making fake account to vote on their own stuff, I'll become very mean ;)

youll eventually know if someone made a new account because if you see the guy posting and always see another guy liking his topic, its most likely its a fake account.
