isn't this just crysis with gun mods...? also, the video says 'Crysis Wars' not Crysis 2. Crysis 1 alone has fantastic in-game physics.

Lol, Dan is right. Video description said "Casus Belli is a Crysis Wars modification inspired from the Battlefield 2's gameplay that is in development since 2009." I see they did remake BF2 game. I like it.

@blinxfrost: Casus Belli is a Crysis Wars modification made by the French Touch Studio.
The official website is located at: http://www.casusbelli-mod.com/

You're claiming you are working on this Crysis 2 modification, which is absolutely NOT true.
Casus Belli has been released on April 6th 2012 for Crysis Wars only.
Any unofficial port of the Crysis Wars version of Casus Belli to any other engine is forbidden and subject to prosecution.

Regards.

I think he's not trying to port it to Crysis 2, he just thinks that Crysis Wars is #2 for some reason

Hello!

I think blinxfrost is only talking about a wine wrapper for your project.
The wrapper itself is not modifying the game code in any ways, but just a virtual environment to run windows applications.
The wrapper will not contain any modification to you project, not any thing from the project at all.

It's basically a modification of wine code, not your project.

I will update his post to make sure that there is no confusion.

That can sometimes be necessary, especially if things like dot net is involved.
Wine and Wineskin is LGPL and therefore you would also use and host the wrapper yourself, or at least get the source to build it yourself and can then distribute it freely and have a mac compatible game, or link it to this project where the support for the wrapper specific issues (and not the mod) could be handled here.

People on this forum have often worked closely with project like AlterIWnet to make the game available on mac too.

because EA hate Steam. They NEVER releases EA's popular games on Steam. They did pulled crysis 2 sale on Steam Store.

I think dolphineye is working for Touch Studioes, and not for Crytek.
As EA has been the publisher, they have not used GFWL, but Origin instead.

It seems that Microsoft Studioes, Warner Brothers, Capcom and Rockstar is the devs that currently uses GFWL (and several others as well)

I really have enough to do these days.
Anyways, unless they have made big changes to how the game works, compared to Crysis Wars, there should be no need to make a whole project for it..
