PCSX-reloaded is better than old PCSX (It's outdated and dead). It don't need powerful Mac hardware. And PCSX2 always need powerful Video Card with VRAM 512MB or higher to run 3D games. It always drop FPS for me. I used SpeedHack. It don't works. I really hate it. I uses ATI with VRAM 256MB.
Edit: I'm using Windows 7 64-bit for PCSX2 and gaming. I never try mac version of PCSX2 cuz people said it's very slow than windows version and linux version.
