MacRumors received the following photos which purport to show what the Snow Leopard packaging will look like.  While Snow Leopard was initially expected to hit stores sometime in September, a number of whispers on the web are pointing to a very late August release.

Was Snow Leopard simply finished ahead of time, or is Apple trying to get as much of a head start as possible on Windows 7, which is due to hit stores on October 22?  Either way, for only $29, Snow Leopard is a must-have upgrade for Mac users.

thats an amazing deal but the only thing i would need it for is to play mass effect so i think il hold off a while
