Here is a problem that started with Mavericks: create a blank wrapper and then try to launch it. Usually the Wineskin window should appear, but instead the icon flashes for a brief moment in the dock and disappears. When i try to double-click the wrapper again I get an error saying

The application "NameOfApp.app" can't be opened. -10810
This problem was not present on Mountain Lion. I'm using Wineskin 2.5.12, please let me know if there is more information i need to provide.
Games I own that still need porting:
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, Descent 3, Fallout, Space Rangers 2

Are you running into Gatekeeper?

No, Gatekeeper only interferes with apps from the internet, not apps you create yourself.

I figured errno=22 would tell me more but I was surprised to find no explanation of launchd() error messages in my google search :(. All I can say is that it works on my setup.

Have you tried reinstalling the 2.5.12 wrapper to your Winery from the urge download site? Also, maybe try running Maintenance 1.8.0 (or whatever latest Mavericks-compatible version).

For fresh wrappers what I've discovered is that you can't double click it and expect it to open the default Wineskin app like it's always been working, you've to Show Package Contents and then open the Wineskin app from there.

Once you've installed a game and then set the directory, double clicking the app will launch it straight away without errors, if I remember correctly.

I don't have anything else to say, I guess.

Here's the problem - when you try to run command line wine test on Mavericks, you get this:

Last login: Tue Nov 19 21:40:15 on ttys001
MyMac:~ valuedcustomer$ /Users/valuedcustomer/Desktop/fallout_3_game/Fallout_3.app/Wineskin.app/Contents/Resources/Command\ Line\ Wine\ Test ; exit;
-bash: /Users/valuedcustomer/Desktop/fallout_3_game/Fallout_3.app/Wineskin.app/Contents/Resources/Command Line Wine Test: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: Operation not permitted
logout

[Process completed]

This might be more useful: the console output when i try to launch the wrapper the first time, when the icon just flashes for a fracture of a second int eh dock and then disappears:

I've got the same issue. But if I reboot my Mac it is gone.

Instead of rebooting you can enter this in terminal:

launchctl remove $(launchctl list | grep wineskin | awk '{ print $3 }')

eradicator006's above code only works if the process doesn't have any spaces in it.
Here is a modified version to work with processes that have spaces in them:

launchctl list | grep wineskin | awk '{$1=$2=""; print $0}' > ok
cat ok | while read line; do launchctl remove "$line"; done
rm ok

I am suddenly having this now. This wasn't present in 10.9, so does it have something to do with 10.9.1 update?
"Is that what he was? Or was he always true to himself, no matter what personality he wore? And there is something that the Council may never understand. That perhaps Revan never fell. The difference between a fall and a sacrifice is sometimes difficult, but I feel that Revan understood that difference, more than anyone knew. The galaxy would have fallen if Revan had not gone to war. Perhaps he became the dark lord out of necessity, to prevent a greater evil."

Unlikely, as the original problem was first reported before 10.9.1 came out. Unless yours is related but different, of course ;).
