JDownloader is an open source download manager, written in Java, which allows the automatic download of files and split files from one-click hosting sites such as Rapidshare and Megaupload. JDownloader supports the use of premium accounts.
JDownloader supports the Rapidshare "waiting time"; and CAPTCHA recognition, enabling batch downloads without user input. Premium users of one-click-host sites have the added advantage of using multiple connections per downloaded file, which accelerates the download in most cases. It also supports Metalink, a format for listing multiple mirrors. Software updates and minor patches are released frequently, and by default JDownloader will update itself upon initialization.
JDownloader is available for mac, Windows and Linux.
No more waiting time and CAPTCHAs for those pesky links on Depositfiles or Rapidshare, just start JDownloader, copy the download Links into your clipboard and JDownloader grabs them.<br />
Switch to JDownloader again, select "Continue with all" and the downloads start automatically.
JDownloader also supports .dlc download containers, where all links are hidden in a little index file.
dlc download containers make it even easier for others to download.
Select "Add Container" in JDownloader and point him out to the .dlc file.
Downloading files with JDownloader
1. Download and install jDownloader. It's free. Works with mac, Windows and Linux.
2. Open up JDownloader.
3. make sure the "enable monitoring the Clipboard" option is selected at the top (the Clipboard Icon)
4. copy the needed links from a Post into your Clipboard with command + c (works best if they are in a codebox)
5. go to JDownloader and select "continue with all"
