How to play skyrim mods with cider (Credit to SouthTuna! Thanks!)

A genius way discovered by SouthTuna to play skyrim mods in a cider wrapper

Posted by njnick3 on Jul 01 2012 02:43 AM
I DIDN'T FIND THIS OUT, SOUTHTUNA DID, ALL CREDIT TO HIM!
Download the files from: here and place them in SKYRIMWRAPPER/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim/%USERPROFILE%/
Local Settings/Application Data/Skyrim.

Download your mod and place the files in the data folder

Edit the DLClist.txt & the plugins.txt and add the names of your mods

Save the Files (BOTH THE PLUGINS AND THE DLCLIST SHOULD BE UPDATED AND HAVE THE SAME CONTENT EXCEPT AT THE TOP OF PLUGINS)

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO UPDATE TO THE LATEST SKYRIM RELOADED! YOURS MAY NOT HAVE SUPPORT FOR MODS, TRY TO GET 1.6 AS IT IS MOST RECENT AT THIS TIME

That would be in the notes on skyrim nexus where you would look at the manual installation. It would say where to put the dlls and anything else.

I don't know what other dll's you could mean.
Send me an example of a mod that would need that...

yeah you do but i dont think you need a DLC list because i put all my mods and DLCs in my plugins.txt and it works perfectly. just remember to put skyrim.esm at the top of the plugins.txt list

The mediafire link posted in op is down. Can someone re-up it? What are the files anyway are they actually needed to mod or are they just text files that I could make myself and place in the correct areas?

The link to download the files is dead.

You can only use the SKSE mod on Mac when using the Wine wrapper. It won't work with the current Cider wrapper.

worked perfectly, thanks. for those people asking for download.. just make the txt files yourselves :/
