Here is a confirmation form the staff that they are in fact using Wine:

I think this is great news, I don't know if they are using Wineskin or what, but it's good to see a company embrace Wine. I'm ooking forward to more Wine ports; sure, I can do it myself, but it#s always nice when someone has done the work for me.

ultimate unofficial patch for Thief II and System Shock II
26 September 2012 - 01:47 PM
Some nameless group created a patch for Thief II and System Shock II that brings both games up to date. The Dark Engine is fairly old and causes many headaches for both Windows- and Wine users. Some time ago the source code for System Shock II was leaked without permission and I assume that code is the basis for this patch, so the creators are unknown. Anyway, the patches can be found here:

I have tested Thief II (GoG version) quickly and everything (except gamma correction) seemed to work out of the box, even videos. Performance was very smooth, loading times very short and there was no flickering. To install the patch you just need to place a few files in your game's directory. This patch should make all the mods and fixes we hav had unneeded. Instructions are included with the patches.

Humble Bundle 6

There is a new Humble Bundle out there:
Torchlight, Shatter, Space Pirates & Zombies, Rochard, Vessel and Dustforce (only if you beat the average)
I thought about turning Torchlight into a native wrapper like I did with Unreal Tournament, but the port is s**t, there has been a bug with case sensitivity in mods for years and runic hasn't bothered with fixing it. You could do workarounds, or you could just make a Wine wrapper.

problems with following
31 August 2012 - 11:39 AM
Hi,
whenever I post in a topic I automatically start following it and when someone comments on one of my ports I follow I don't get notified. Those two things used to work, but since recently I have missed comments in my ports. Did something change, because I cannot find any options to revers those behaviours

[req] Map user's AppData folder
12 July 2012 - 02:26 PM
Hello
I've been making use of the mappign feature all the time for games that put their save files into the Documents folder. I like to have those files in ~/Library/Application Data/nameofthegame. That way my savegames don't clutter up my own folders and they can be shared between two different wrappers of the same game.
I recently bought Torchlight and it doesn't use any of the usual folders, instead it uses the Application Data folder, which cannot be mapped using the GUI. it would be nice if that folder was added to the list. (on an unrelated note, would it be possible to have "option key works as Alt" checked by default?)
