Cider Skyrim + HiAlgoBoost?

03 December 2012 - 05:29 AM

I've been playing a pretty heavily modded version of Skyrim for a while now and while I doubt I'll ever get SKSE to work with it, if I can get HiAlgoBoost to work with my game it would definitely improve playability as the 5-15 FPS I usually get is mind-numbingly immersion breaking. I'd say it's unplayable, but Skyrim is just too good of a game to let crappy low graphics and stuttering deter me from. I tried getting it to work myself, but I'm pretty noob at wrappers and Skyrim just crashed. While I'm not sure of what the exact problem is, the mod author has taken note of it and posted about it here.
Excerpt from the wiki:
Spoiler

If it's not possible to use it with cider can it be run through wineskin with SKSE? If it can, I think it would be much preferable to the way it currently runs on my system, as well as allowing a whole slew of mods I assumed I wouldn't be able to play.

If it helps you any with answering my inquerie, I'm running the most recent version of Skyrim through the port featured on the front page(TESV: Skyrim - Cider). My Macbook Pro's specs should be listed on the left, if not I'll update the post with the exact specs.

Anything you can let me know would be very appreciated, thanks!
