Screenshots
Duels of the Planeswalkers takes players on a journey through a Multiverse in which they take on the roles of Planeswalkers, powerful wizards who battle others for glory, knowledge and conquest. Throughout their journey, Planeswalkers battle with, or against each other in lush interactive 3D environments. Similar to the Magic: The Gathering trading card game, Planeswalkers are equipped with an arsenal of spells and creatures that if used wisely will help advance the Planeswalker through the game.

Extending the game experience beyond the confines of the traditional card game, players can opt to battle real life opponents online. Also available are a variety of strategic single-player game scenarios.

Drag and drop your game directory in the wrapper's contents/drive_c/Program Files
or install using the wineskin installer to the default directory

Notes:
Performance is good enough. Run it in 1440x900 with all settings to the max and got about 25-30 fps.
Also, as far as I tested this game only runs fullscreen, or in a virtual desktop.
Please note this was tested with the steam version and SKiDROW

Best

Thanks!
thanks! I even tried to port this myself, but kept getting debugger errors
Moved from work in progress section - to fully working wrapper section.
I'm having trouble getting this to work... can u give me steps? also is this the actual game file?
For some reason this wrapper doesn't work at all for me. Have tried copying from my steam copy and applying crack, installing natively and overwriting with the cracked files, installing virtual machine and then copying everything over with cracked files. These are done using both SKiDROW and Steam release, both dont work at all.
I have tried running in debug mode but the debug files are never created, never had this problem before. All of my other wrappers are running fine with no problems. Looks like this release is broken, at least for me. x.x

update: Was able to get debug to work using the WineSkin 2.0 beta 5 and WS5Beta3Wine1.3.4 combo. Was wondering if there was something else besides DX9 & C++ 2008 runtime you need to install to get it working properly. I feel like I am close, but I cant interpret exactly what is going wrong and want to make sure I am not missing something obvious before bothering the goddess like Doh123 with my simple mortal problems. ^.~
sorry for my bout of noobishness... i got it working... cool game ty!

Hello!  I tried this, and just get an error message.  Has anyone tried this on a GMA X3100?  I know it says that it was only tested on nVidia, so I'm just going with a hope that I might be able to get it to work.  Other wrappers I have tried that were tested on nVidia have worked, so I'm seeing if there may be a setting I'm using that may be causing the problem.
Well finally got Planswalkers to work using WineSkin 2.0 beta 5 /w the WS5Beta3Wine1.3.3 base. dx3d9 & C++ 2008 Runtime are all you need to add extra. Update 1 & 2 is applied with the SKiDROW crack included with the updates. Apparently Magic is EXTREMELY picky about the screen settings. You have to disable auto detection, force rootless /w virtual desktop, then pray to Doh123 it works. Online & other DLC (ie foil unlocks) dont work due to the steam crack. After I have some fun time playing the game I may try to get it working with Steam proper and make a wrapper out of it, need to find a way to get WineSkin to launch the application without calling up Steam to load in the foreground first. x.x

The GMA series is not supported outside of the most recent HD variations included with the core i3 and core i5. the GMA series has used the CPU and software to assist with carrying out pixel shader and other functions up until recently. Combine the low compatibility (software emulation of pixel shading & vertex functions are highly specified driver dependent) and high CPU cost for doing this (D3D & Windows code translation is hard enough), most applications dont support Intel IGP outside of the most recent version where they added most of the missing hardware work units.
Sorry for the bad news, but there is a reason Apple moved to using the 9400M IGP for a while or use hybrid approaches for most of their laptops, it just isn't good enough for hardware acceleration of anything but basic 3D and most 2D. Honestly even the new Intel HD Graphics in the i3 and i5 aren't quite where they should be, though Intel is finally going the last step and fixing this with its next generation graphics parts due next year. They are performance and hardware implementation competitive with entry level discrete AMD & Nividia GPUs. Then again this doesnt do much to help you now.  :sorry:

Thank you for the information.  I've been trying for a while, and have had no luck.  I find it extremely disappointing that the game works when I play it through an emulated Windows, but I can't use Wine at all.  If perchance anyone finds a way to get this to work on a GMA, please let me know. : ) I will be very grateful!
This is only the wrapper right?? Do i need the original windows game?
That's correct pelaon, you have to install the windows version in the wrapper in order to play.
Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for this port!
Does anyone have tested it on Lion? Any improving perfomances with Wine 1.3.33?
Also, a simple copy/paste of the SKiDROW version in the drive_c/Program Files would work, is that right?
