â€¢    Continuation of the Award-Winning Narrative: New and unique storytelling devices serve as the vehicle for the continuation of one of gaming’s most acclaimed storylines

Personal Notes:
This was ported and tested on a system that rates below the minimum required specifications. My system is a 128MB VRAM X1600 (MBP 1,1) so the fact that I was able to test it well enough to verify that the plasmids issue is not present in this wrapper. I have tested it enough to have injected the plasmid and recharged as well. The gamplay was surprising springy in the beginning but eventually slowed down to a crawl. I can only blame this on a lack of video memory. The input devices on my MBP are currently broken so I am using a USB two button mouse and the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard as my input devices.

A proper no DVD Fixed Executable is located inside the package contents of this wrapper, unarchive and place in the proper folder (Program Files > 2K Games > Bioshock 2 > SP > Builds > Binaries>)

Minimum System Specs:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard / Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
- GPU: ATI X1900 or equivalent
- RAM:  2GB
- Video: 256MB vRAM
- about  10 GB Hard Drive Space required

Known Issues:
The game would not render correctly using the automatic fullscreen settings in Wineskin so I had to set the Wineskin Screen Options override to fullscreen and set the resolution to 1024x640 for the Widescreen effect, however the ingame setting for windowed mode is on the game does actually play in Fullscreen.

To set the resolution click Alt/Option and double click the Bioshock 2.app. When the Wineskin interface appears click Set Screen Option and choose the resolution you want to launch the game in.

If you have a higher end graphics card feel free to change the settings to test various configurations.

Installation:
Install your own copy of Bioshock 2 using the CXInstaller or other means
there are plenty of ways (Crossover/Virtual Machine/Aurhentic Windows install)

Mount the Bioshock2wrp.dmg
Drag and the drop the app to your preferred gaming folder
Double click the app to launch the game

If you run into problems Use the Wineskin interface to test run the game in debug mode and post the logs at pastebin.com and then post those in this thread for support

Game loading starts at about 6:40 and finishes around 10:55 feel free to skip ahead
Loading time without a desktop capture application running in the background takes approximately 2:30 or less
Game play is much less excruciating without the app running in the background.

Like I said in the post directly above yours....use jDownloader, they will all show up. Jeesh....nothing needs to be re-upped

currently only the error that is caught when recharging plasmid

This issue was solved? Thanks!
Hi, DankoB: I am using jDownloader. And with respect, because I'm sure you are likely correct and, since I am new to this, perhaps I am still just missing the mechanics of how this works, somehow, but...

...the picture you posted, seems, at least in my opinion, to even confirm my claim that part 003 is missing. It is not there, in your image. There is 001. And there is 002 (which you have highlighted) and then there is 004. But there is no 003 in that image?

Please explain. Won't I get an error message when I attempt to extract without a missing number? I have not downloaded all the parts to test it's extraction just yet (was waiting until I understood this), so I do not know if this is how it is MEANT to be, and for some peculiar reason, there is no need for a part 003?
Okay, so I just downloaded 'ALL' the parts available, through jDownloader. I am not saying that the parts there are not 'Online'. What I am saying, is that one of the parts is missing entirely. I attempted to unpack, and was summarily told, that it could not, as the package was incomplete.

I really don't think I am wrong about this. 003 is indeed missing. I respect that as the original poster of this, it would make sense that you (DankoB) would be correct and I would be wrong. But I really think that in this case, I have not lost my mind. It really is true, that part 003 is not there.

If you could review for me as well, and confirm my theory? Or tell me what I am doing wrong? Because no matter how I try to wrangle it together, I still come out missing something here... and that something seems to be part 003, to me. :(
Ahhh...I didn't even look at it, I saw part two and didn't consider the 003 in brackets. Yeah, you're right part three is missing...I'd like to upload them but unfortunately I don't have the files....This was uploaded by thedoctor45 if I'm not mistaken...maybe he can re-up the missing part.

ps - I just checked the MU account it was uploaded to and it seems to have been removed from the system...all parts are there except for Bioshock2.dmg.003....maybe the doc could re-upload the missing part if he still has it on his HD
Can part 3 please be reupped? I am extremely keen to play this game.
Can someone please, PLEASE re-upload 003 if they have it, out there somewhere???
I just checked my external harddrive and I didn't actually backup the parts that were split up by thedoc, maybe he still has a backup. He uploaded them, He split up a DMG I created and uploaded to Broken Stones. I never actually had a copy of the split up parts come to think of it.
I sent him a PM, and he never responded. What is one to do? :\
buy the game and put it in the wrapper?

viewtopic.php?f=46&t=7918
Of course. Why didn't I think of that... *rolls eyes* ;)

Thanks for trying. You went to quite a bit of effort at least. I do appreciate it.

It's my own fault for downloading the whole thing, without checking to see that a file was missing in the first place.

*sigh*
