Eye of the Beholder the Trilogy [DOSBox Port]
Ported by: doh123

Status: GREEN (Fully Playable)

Description
This is Eye of he Beholder 1,2, and 3 as a single app... I made a customized launch menu.  Also has built in manuals and cluebooks.  These are some of the best RPGs of the DOS era.

System requirements:
Mac OS version: no idea... works for sure on OS X 10.5
Min. Processor: Probably G4s and better, or any Intel...
Min RAM: not much I'd guess
Video RAM: don't think it matters
Harddisk space: 90 mb

First off.. Thank you SOOO much.. this game brings me back! Great work!

Just downloaded your copy from the link you provided and I don't have DOSbox.. I beat EoB1 and also can't start EoB2 with my EoB1 party.. I would know how to do this on a pc most times.. but I can't figure it out on  my mac.. where are the data files for this located?

Sorry, I'm not the most able person on computers, even macs..
Thanks again
right click the app and select "show package contents" then go to Contents -> Resources -> DriveC and you'll fine the 3 game folders... and you can move the saved games between the folders as required just like in DOS.
Thank you so much! Finished EoB2 rapidly.. now I'm trying to port my chars from EoB2 to EoB3.. says i need to run CHARCOPY but I'm having troubles doing that as well.. I have DOXbox now but i'm not skilled enough with it to run CHARCOPY that way yet.. any way around this?
Whew.. guess I asked too early.. after about an hour of messing around I figured it out.. one question though.. does the qweasd method for moving around not work in eob3? it says it does but it doesn't seem to work for me.. I hope I didn't break something in the process of trying to port characters.
Thanks again for a wonderful port!
I thought I had the keyboard remapped to let you use WASD to move on all 3, but I really haven't played any of these in a long time now.... i ran it again really quick and it doesn't seem to work... If I remember right I was using the mouse to push the turn arrows and using the arrow key for forward and backwards last time i played.  I think this is the one I fought with for hours trying to get keys remapped and working and never did.
Not a problem.. when I first played this as a youngin I didn't have the coordination to figure out how to utilize keyboard and mouse.. so I'm WAY ahead of where I was a decade or two ago.. Thanks again for such a wonderful port.. after finding this game, I'm sure I'll be utilizing a bunch more of what you guys have offered. So awesome!
Hi,

This does not work for me - installed fine, but when I launch it, the icon just bounces in the doc and then does nothing?  What am I missing?
Please help - would love to play this again.

I updated post.. made a single app version of all 3, instead of separate downloads for each game.
GREAT WORK! This takes me right back to high school! Quick question: EOB2 won't let me import the character party from EOB1. Is there some way around this? (I'd love to use the same party to complete all 3 games) THANKS.
The zip-file appears to be broken. Cannot unzip it :( Downloaded it twice with no avail

Not very helpfull....
I tried the Stuffit expander and the one integrated in osx. both fail. However they can unzip every other zip file I've come across the last two years...

On my Mac the file size is 64.9 MB (68 107 286 byte). Can you confirm? Could it be that the download was halted?
Even on windows I cannot unzip it: Screenshot: http://monosnap.com/...Wsh4L3kUwXE73vQ

So I'm guessing, either all my zip tools on all machines are broken, or the file I get when downloading is not the complete file, like it's missing a few bytes...
Anyone able to provide the download for this now that the link is broken?
I have the first one, would love the other two. Anyone do a re-upload of this?
