Skyrim INstallation Instructions - I DO NOT SUPPORT PIRACY!!!  PLEASE OWN A COY OF THE GAME BEFORE DOING THIS!!!

1. Finish downloading the torrent called The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim 2012-Razor1911 or any other cracked Razor1911 version of the game

3. Download Wineskin Winery from here Wineskin Winery 1.6 and make a wrapper using the latest engine and call it SkyrimInstallation

4. Find Skyrim Installion in Your User -> Applications -> Wineskin and do "Show Package Contents" on the SkyrimInstallation

5. Once in "Show Package Contents" click on "Wineskin"

6. Click "Install Software"

7. Click "Choose Setup Executable"

8. Select the setup.exe from /Users/Your Usernamel/Desktop/Downloads/The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim 2012-Razor1911/setup.exe and proceed with the installation till it is finished! Desktop -> downloads -> razor elder scrolls folder -> setup.exe

9. Copy the files in Desktop -> downloads -> razor elder scroll folder -> Razor1911 folder

You have now successfully installed TESV Skyrim!

NOW YOU MUST MAKE IT WORK IN CIDER!!!

11. Open skyrimcider7606fixed.zip in your downloads folder if you haven't already done so

12. Right click and show package contents of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim (This is located in your downloads folder)

13. Go to Desktop -> Skyrim folder (not the razor one, the other one) -> Skyrim Application (not the preferences one as that is ONLY for changing graphics if the game is running too slow) -> Contents -> c_drive -> Program Files -> The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

14. Drag and drop the CONTENTS of your "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim" folder FROM THE SkyrimInstallation located at Your User -> Applications -> Wineskin and do "Show Package Contents" on the SkyrimInstallation -> drive_c -> Program Files (There maybe be one that says bethesda or something before the Skyrim folder but make your way to "The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim" folder and copy the CONTENTS FROM THERE  to the CIDER VERSION mentioned in steps 8-10 which is here
Desktop -> Skyrim folder (not the razor one, the other one) -> Skyrim Application (not the preferences one as that is ONLY for changing graphics if the game is running too slow) -> Contents -> c_drive -> Program Files -> The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

15. Play the game!!!

Changing Video Settings
This can be done through the "Skyrim Preferences" application
The settings will go back to default when you relaunch the "System Preferences" app so do don't think that they weren't changed before.  You must always make the change when you start up this app!!!

Personal Notes
Thanks to "DanIsTheMan" for his support and help testing my wrapper!

is it possible to buy the game through steam and then use either one of these apps ?
Wrapper FIXED please redownload!!!

@tcrown that is impossible as I have the EXACT same machine as you like mirror clone
I'll need to buy the game itself for this to run right? Anyone got a link to a way to download w/o using steam? (unless this can work w/steam).
Ryno you have a typo in your cider link"hhttp" will try again and see what I get, your running 10.7.2?

Same thing with the cider, launches app, changes rez then quits out.

Turns out it was a bad install of the game that was causing the problem. Reinstalled and all works peachy in Cider. Good job on the wrapper.
ya I'm running 10.7.2
Hyunckel I se youre one of the people getting this to work, would you be kindly to help us all and posting fast tutorial video, im more thne welcome to upload it for you if you wont do that yourself, think many would be very happy for the video :D
Oh wow, I am truly hoping this fixes the mouse-lag errors that occur using Wineskin. PLEASE ryno. I will love you forever. Will post when tested.
@kimx5708, there are tutorials here on how to use wrappers.
@caspur, If your speaking about my wineskin wrapper, it will be updated soon with a better mouse fix.
please can someone do a quick video on how to do it ?
Hi everyone,
So I played for an hour or two, using the Cider wrapper, the game is nice, there are some slowdown for like one or two seconds when I come to a new zone (time to load it I guess) but except for that everything' alright now.

Just had to put Look Sensitivity in the menu/system settings on max, and there you go, the trackpad is working real nice now, no more sluggish mouse movements.

As for graphics and all, I run it on medium settings, and it's quite beautiful indeed.

There is no need for a tutorial , with the razer version of the game, just install it (using Parallels, VMWare or Bootcamp), mounting the image  disc using Daemon Tools Lite, let the installer do its job, copy the 3 or 4 files (don't remember) that are in the Razer Ressource  folder located on the iso, overwrite, and then copy the TES V Skyrim folder into the wrapper (in the Drive_C/Program Files/)... It's a nobrainer really.

GL & HF everyone, I'm so happy to play this game. Special thanks to rynotheking14 and DanIsTheMan .

Wait, sorry I'm an utter noob and this would be my first time using a wrapper - do I need to dl the game using parallels, or can I just dl it and then use wrapperwine to launch it?
Hey everyone. So I'm not sure if this is a unique problem for me, or what's going on, but it is really inhibiting my gameplay.

So this cider version fixed the whole mouse-lag issue with the original Wineskin port of Skyrim. That is awesome, and I thought that was the only thing limiting my gameplay.

When going through the whole beginning game scene, and getting the chance to create my character I realized that I am unable to switch or select any in-game menus.

What I mean is... I am unable to switch tabs, or change my character's name.. or anything that requires you to use a mouse regarding menus.

For some reason, the mouse works on the Main Menu, but not for the actual in-game PLAYER menu.

This was the same case with the wineskin wrapper. It's going to be literally impossible to play if I'm unable to view my inventory, or select skills and stuff.

I really appreciate the work ryno has done with this wrapper. I haven't yet updated Skyrim to version 1.1... do you think that has something to do with it? (using 1.0).

Please let me know if you have any advice for me.

As ive all ready mentioned before, the other tabs in the menu will become avalable as you play on. you havent unlocked them yet. As for the mouse issue in the menu, it works with selecting items in inventory and everything else. I've made sure of this as ive tested the cider wrapper and wineskin wrapper many times.
Okay, so I have a problem.  When I set enemies on fire, and they're burning, I get black blocks.   I assume because of a missing texture.  Does anybody know the fix to this?
