In Burnout Paradise players are treated to a rarity in the video games universe: a complete reinvention of an established franchise that equals, if not betters any of the previous games in the series. Yes, this is a large claim, but one that can be explained in a single phrase: Next-Gen Freedom. Although the Burnout series’ over the top mobile action has been its calling card since it ignited audiences on the PS2 in 2001, and later on the first generation Xbox console, Burnout Paradise is the first game in the series that has been designed specifically for play on Next Generation consoles. This has allowed game developer Criterion to rip the training wheels off the game and rebuild it from scratch. The result is a new, expansive world that players can roll through at will. And what a world it is.

Personal Notes:
It ran well on my MacBook using Medium graphics and 1024x768.

Minimum System Requirements:
OS: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard / 10.6 Snow Leopard / 10.7 Lion
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.8 GHz / AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Memory: 1 GB
Hard Drive: 4 GB free
Video Memory: 128 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 6600 / ATI Radeon X1300

Known Issues:
-None

Installation:
Option A - Install Software:
1.  Right-click on the application icon and select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu.
2.  Open Wineskin.app and choose "Install software"
   a. In the window that appears, browse for the "Setup.exe" file and select it.
   b. Run through the installation wizard, click "Next" a few times, and "Finish" at the end.
3. If a window appears from Wineskin that asks you to choose an executable, it should already be set to the correct executable.
4. Close the Wineskin application.
5. Find the application (the wrapper) and run it by double-clicking on the icon.

Option B - Copy Game Directory
Note: Some downloaded versions of the game from file-sharing websites will not require the typical installation wizard as usual (such as a RELOADED version). Typically, you can determine this if it will already contain the "BurnoutParadise.exe" file, as well as folders such as "DirectX" and "VEHICLES".
1.  Right-click on the application icon and select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu.
2.  In the window that appears, browse to "drive_c/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Burnoutâ„¢ Paradise The Ultimate Box"
3.  Drag the contents of the game into the "Burnoutâ„¢ Paradise The Ultimate Box" folder
4.  Find the application (the wrapper) and run it by double-clicking on the icon.

is it open world?
Running pretty much perfectly on a 2010 Macbook Pro 13'
...
Except for one weird bug where my player has no head whatsoever if I switch to a motorbike. It's like the Headless Rider.
Hope there's a fix, otherwise very nice port.
Guys, how do I install this? With what .exe? Because I have all the game files in a folder but I don't know which one to use
Not working on Intel HD 3000 because:
"This machine's shader model does not support shader model 3, which is required to run the game.
The game will now terminate."
I can play at minimum and full screen with 13inch macbook pro, base model. But i don't know why it doesn't appear image when i start. I played several times but now nothing appears, only sound.
so what exactly do you do? I'm so confused
Did everything right stuck @ loading screen
Does this work with the steam version, or do we need someone to test that (I can do that eventually, but don't want to use up too much of my data allowance right now)?
I build a wrapper for this game but i have the same headless rider problem.
Is anyone experiencing random crashes when driving REALLY fast? This happens almost every time i play about 20-45 minutes into gameplay.

It's terrible. The port works great, is extremely fast, but this whole crashing thing is awful. Wondering if it might be a problem with the release I used to install. Maybe I'll try a different version out there and see if it improves. :].
every 15min the game starts terribly lagging and then crashes, any solution?

OH DUDE! I GET THAT PROBLEM WITH LIKE SO MANY WRAPPERS I TRY. F*** SHADER VERSION 3. ITS ALWAYS SHADER VERSION 3. -.-
It's working perfectly for me, but i don't understand where to delete the current saves, so I can start the game from the beginning. Any help?

And i'd like to know if there is a method to delete savings in any game that runs with wineskin, e.g. if i have to delete something in the package contents or something like that.
