Yup, there sure is. But its pretty dated by PCSX2 standards. I've had much better compatibility and performance from the wrapped version of it.
works definitely much better than the older builds.
ZeroGS is a pain to use as always and requires lots of 'hacks' to get things done (compared to GSdx), but it's actually usable now.
I am afraid this dos not work well on Nvidia cards. With ZeroGS the framerate is extremely slow and with GSdx there is no picture showing.

Any suggestions that can make it work better?

Not much you can do actually, besides spending days trying various (mostly none-working) speedhacks in the zeroGS settings
The zeroGS plugin is the OpenGL Plugin here, but sadly it doesn't get speed up from the graphic card. Mostly CPU dependent.  The zeroGS plugin is a very old and outdated plugin, and even works worse than the software renderer from GSdx.
The hardware renderer of GSdx is only compatible with Windows, but this is the fastest/nicest plugin around. Fail under Wine, was always like that.

Even so, the Emulator is highly CPU dependent, and with the zeroGS plugin even more, since OpenGL instructions also get pushed through the CPU.
In short, the more CPU power you have, the better this thing works.
Running this on a CPU below 3.6 or 3.8 GHz is not recommended, the framerates will drop hard almost everywhere. Look at the OP's CPU (i7 Quad @ 4.6 GHz)
@devilhunter :-( .. but thank you for the answer. I "only" got a i7-920 at 2,67 Mhz. And that is deffinetly not enough ...
I also have a machine running an i7 2.66GHz, I'll test it tomorrow and report back how well it works with the same game (FFX) with the same settings. It has a Radeon 6850 in it though, not an nvidia. My wife does have an iMac 3.06GHz with a slow nVidia chip (gx 130, i think), i'll test it on there too.

What nVidia card you got? just curious.
GTX275
Is it compatible with lion?
Works fine with Lion. Thats what I run on all my machines. I'm still testing on my i7 2.66GHz box and waiting for my wife to let me have a crack at her iMac. She's been on a marathon WoW session and won't give her mac up.
Pcsx2 r5109 is certainly crap but its nice to see a port of PCSX2 in general via wineskin on mac. Especially lion! This is a nice option to have but I'd rather stick to mine. I think PCSX2 is just bad now. Every revision is either better or just worse.
sorry to ask is there a really good pcsx2 for mac Lion? I really want to play games like Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne and other games like that so plz give me link or the pcsx2 itself sorry to ask for this you don't need to do this but if you do thank you very much
