This is the dos shareware version of the game :D (so many good dos games to port LoL)

You must be running a 64bit installation of mac osx 10.7.3 to run this port

Doom (typeset as DOOM in official documents)[2] is a 1993 first-person shooter video game by id Software. It is widely recognized for having popularized the first person shooter genre, pioneering immersive 3D graphics, networked multiplayergaming, and support for customized additions and modifications via packaged files in a data archive known as "WADs". Its graphic and interactive violence,[3] as well as its Satanic imagery, also made it the subject of considerable controversy. InDoom, players assume the role of a space marine who must fight his way through a military base on Mars' moon, Phobos, and kill the demons from Hell.

With one third of the game (9 levels) distributed as sharewareDoom was played by an estimated 10 million people within two years of its release, popularizing the mode of gameplay and spawning a gaming subculture; as a sign of its effect on the industry, games from the mid-1990s boom of first-person shooters are often known simply as "Doom clones". According to GameSpyDoom was voted by industry insiders to be the greatest game of all time in 2004.

Is Doom abandonware now?
Why not "DOOMSDAY Engine"?

Is quite better than original Doom, and runs FINE on 10.6/10.7 and 10.8...
Is there a way to add custom IWAD files into the port?
This is only shareware version as you said. I've Final Doom .wad files and I want to play them. How can I do it ?
so this game runs awesome, but is there anyway to change the directional controls to WASD? So on my search for this, (lol no lie) i found a disney aladdin game within the wrapper. i guess its a freebie haha.
it works :)
Hi, I have a problem with the game, hope anyone can help me solve it, every time I try to run the game it crashes and a message pops up saying "OSXDosboxWrapper has closed unexpectedly", please if somebody has a solution to this problem i would highly appreciate it.
