Download Wrapper Unreal Tournament 1999 (99) (GOTY) 1.0.1

Unreal Tournament is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game co-developed by Epic Games and Digital Extremes. It was published in 1999 by GT Interactive. Retrospectively, the game has also been referred to as UT99 or UT Classic to differentiate it from its numbered sequels. The game is based on the same technology that powered Unreal, but the design of UT shifted the series' focus to competitive multiplayer action, a trend at the time: id Software's Quake III Arena was released only ten days later.

Personal Notes:
Well, games fun, hope you enjoy this port! campaign is pretty long and the graphics look awesome for a game made in 1999 :). yes, LAN works :D everything runs 100% smooths (like above 200 FPS) on full settings. Game not working when updating to or have 10.7 or 10.8? Use this tut! http://portingteam.c...-1075-or-newer/

My System Specs:
- OS: 10.6.8
- CPU: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Dup
- RAM: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
- Video: Nvidia GTX 320M
- Disk Space: about 35 MB (Extra space needed)

Known Issues:
- Well I tried installing the game through wineskin, apparently it doesn't install (unless you know how to fix it). so use either bootcamp, vmware fusion, etc to install, once its done, extract the unreal folder into your mac.
or
Use your windows xp, 7, vista, etc laptop / desktop then use a USB to extract it to your mac

Installation:
Use vmware fusion or a windows laptop or desktop to install the game, results will come out in a folder called Unreal tournament. extract the unreal tournament.exe folder into vmware fusion or put it on your windows by using a USB, run/install the game. once its done, extract it onto your mac. Then once thats done, right click on the unreal 1998 wrapper > show package contents > drive_c > program files > extract the Unreal Tournament folder in program files.
Exit everything and play :D

If anything is confusing you, comment below and ill try to explain it a bit clearer for you.

there is no error that it gives me, the installation process just doesn't go when i hit extract. I tried to exit and reinstall but still same thing, it doesnt go so instead i installed it from my windows 7 and then extracted all the files back onto my mac :D
Works perfectly on my 2009 imac with ati radeon 4850 so i think you can add a green dot for ati cards :).

Thanks!
I get a Kernel Panic on 10.8.2 whenever running this app.
2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon   NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512 MB

This I can't get to load past the first screen - won't find compatible renderers.  If I run the UT in Windows and set the renderer to OpenGL, I get to the UT banner page, but that's it.  It won't go any further.  The Cider version works fine once the renderer is set to OpenGL BUT only the Wine version is supported for online gaming with servers running ACE.  Would like to see if I could get this running.  Don't like running Windows.
Well, I was able to get this to finally work after updating the wrapper/engine.  Flickered bad until I put in the Direct3D9 renderer (http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/) and used that.  Now plays like a dream, and is ACE compatible.

How did you get to open driver screen ?
As soon as I open screen to change driver I get starting screen of the game and nothing happens.... No windows to change opens.
When I enter preferences through UT console I get crash.....

Sounds like you need to update your wrapper first.
Hi I wanted to ask for some help, although it may be a bit too late :P I don't have a working PC, but I have the unreal tournament game with the disc. Is it ok that I am installing it with my Mac rather than with a PC like you stated in the instructions?
I would like to say that I get close to running the game successfully, but I get this error code mentioning '32-bit' and I am not sure how to overcome it. If you want I can show you the whole error message just ask. And if you are able to help me, thanks!
