Heavy Fire Afghanistan is an on rails shooter in which you kill terrorist after terrorist in a dusty war-torn environment.

Personal Notes:
- I havent encountered any issues with this port. The BlackBox repack will not work properly in wine nor cider but the Skidrow version works fine.

My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OSX 10.7.3
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz
- RAM: 4GB
- Video:    nVidia GeForce 9400m 256mb
- Disk Space:   3-4GB

Known Issues:
- None

Installation:
Drag the game folder into program files and make sure a NoCD crack has been applied.
Configure your resolution.txt to your liking and place it in:
C_Drive/Program Files/Heavy Fire Afghanistan/data/(this may not be the correct folder for you. If not, keep looking for a folder that all ready has a resolution.txt file in it) and replace the resolution.txt with the one you have configured.

Configuring Resolution.txt
*(my native resolution is 1280x800)*

1280 <--- This is the horizontal size of the resolution the game will start & play in. Change it to your NATIVE or preferred resolution.
800 <--- This is the horizontal size of the resolution the game will start & play in. Change it to your NATIVE or preferred resolution.
SOUND_ON <-- no need to change this.
FULL_SCREEN <-- this needs to be full screen for the game to start!
NO_CONSOL <-- no need to change this.
PARTICL_QUALITY_MEDIUM <-- change 'MEDIUM' to 'LOW' or 'HIGH' (whatever you prefer).
TEXTURE_QUALITY_MEDIUM <-- change 'MEDIUM' to 'LOW' or 'HIGH' (whatever you prefer).
SCENPROP_QUALITY_MEDIUM <-- change 'MEDIUM' to 'LOW' or 'HIGH' (whatever you prefer).
//ADITIONAL_SHADOWS_ON <-- remove the '//' part to enable aditional shadows.
VERTICAL_SYN_ON <-- change 'ON' to 'OFF' (usually results in better FPS.
LEVEL_OF_DETAIL_MEDIUM <-- change 'MEDIUM' to 'LOW' or 'HIGH' (whatever you prefer).

Agreed. I would have loved to have posted house of the dead 3 but its so glitchy in wineskin its unreal. Missing textures everywhere :(
I start it and I just get a black screen with a little white dot in the middle

quit it and start it again. Also, make sure you have applied the crack properly and used the resolution.txt file i have provided.
Nice Port. Works fine with my ATI Radeon HD 5770. I,v tryed  to get this to work in wine ,but no luck. I thought Cider was more or less dead? It seems i have to start using it again.
