As missions are completed more advanced weapons and equipment are made available. In addition, the desert environment of Dubai is brought into the game in a unique way with stunning visuals, and dynamic sandstorms that actively effect level designs, and which can be used to help and hinder progress. The vertical interiors of Dubai high rise buildings also provide tactical advantages and risks that can used be by players. Multiplayer campaigns bring new modes and unusual situations and environments to expand the single player experience.

Personal Notes:
Two days before the official release, I give you... Spec Ops: The Line
Fully playable, great looking graphics even at very low settings! My relatively old card could go all the way to... Low. But that's still too much, if you actually see how it looks! I wonder what it looks like in very high!

Blinxfrost's wrapper is also included in the downloads. Please state which wrapper you're using before asking for help

I got the game up and running by moving the installed and cracked folder from VMWare Fusion. I launched it and the menu loaded up fine. I went to play the game and it is slow as hell..... lagging and stuttering a very slow frame rate.... My rig can run Crysis on high so I find it hard to believe that it can't run this on 'very low' haha i'm pretty new to all this am i doing something wrong? I read about a problem with the ATI/AMD cards should I switch to my integrated graphics card?

My System

Intel Quad Core i7 2.2ghz
8gb Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024MB

Running Lion OSX 10.7.4

I installed the game, but when i start the screen goes black and crashes, somebody help??
Hello

Same problem as ctrcic but I don't know how to switch to my integrated graphics card.
I have a late 2011 macbook pro
i7 2.2
8Go RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512Mo

I used the lowest resolution and very low on details but it is still very laggy so I can't play.

About the crashes when you start the game. Show the content of your launcher and use a lower resolution. It works for me.
Plz help here... At first it runs well until I start shooting and the.mouse suddenly freaks put and I cant view the battlefield, it wont go there, it jumps all around the place. What did I do wrong? Seems like a good game... Would be perfect without this problem

P.s my mac is white late 2009
gakusei21: download this app: http://www.macupdate.../gfxcardstatus/ that'll let you switch your card really easily and it's free! works good on integrated cards and doesnt look horrible it's very playable I am almost finished with it. let me know if you have any problems!

songdavid17: read through all of these comments and you should find posts on the mouse issue, i had the same problem and after following their walk through it works great in the game but the mouse won't work for the menus you'll need to use the arrow keys! hope this helps!!

mikedot19: hey try reinstalling the game and make sure the packages it asks for at the end aren't installed!! try it then! i had to move the application from windows the wine installer wouldn't work in mac for me
Not working in 10.8 for me icon just bounces in the dock, on a Retina MBP.
My game says it needs steam to run, should I just have it running or is there a way to bypass and just play it single player? Thanks!
For everyone experiencing stutter on AMD/ATI cards, you may wanna switch the engine to a version below 1.5.x (1.4.1 for example), this way you won't have to switch to your internal graphics card to get a decent framerate.
(There are a lot of games that stutter on my AMD card when I use Wine-Engines from 1.5.x on. Seems to be some problem with glsl-shading).

Just install Wineskin Winery ( http://bit.ly/S1Izew ) click on the plus-symbol to download a new wine-engine from the list.
In your Spec Ops wrapper, go to Advanced->Tools->Change Engine Used -- the downloaded engines should be selectable.

Overall, I'm having the experiences with WS9WineCX11.2.0NoXinput2 (which is based on 1.4.1) .. works most of the time with great performance.

PM link? Cuz I have no idea which skidrow version, to get. Thanks
When I start the Wrapper, the screen goes black and a few seconds later the wrapper closes again. I installed the game via Parallels Desktops and moved the game folder in the wrapper. I use thanoulas wrapper and have no possibilty to try blinxfrosts wrapper, since extraction gives me an corrupt wrapper with only the Wineskin app in it.

MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2010
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
8 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

Edit: The problem seems to be the crack. Reinstalled the game and started it before applying the crack, and it took me until the screen saying that the game needs steam to run. After applying the screen the problem described above appears again. Any solutions? I'm using the skidrow crack with the skidrow release.
Game actually works now in conjunction with what weirdo said, but now there's a new problem. At times there's a horizontal patch of light that obliterates 1/4 of my screen making some of the surroundings and enemies unseeable, it goes away and comes back but it gets annoying. Also, some of the characters (npcS) are given a second version of themselves (with no color, just a white outline) adjacent to their person. Any fixes for this? Other than that it's smooth as a regular game would play on a mac.
