Spec Ops: The Line is a new original title from 2K Games that features provocative and gripping Third-Person modern military Shooter gameplay designed to challenge players' morality by putting them in the middle of unspeakable situations where unimaginable choices affecting human life must be made. Features include, a gripping, storyline reminiscent of Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness but set in a ruined Dubai, tactical squad-based Delta Force gameplay throughout a horizontally and vertically oriented world, devastating sandstorms which can be used in combat, a variety of multiplayer modes and maps, and deep support featuring two factions.

It’s been 6 months since Dubai was wiped off the map by a cataclysmic sandstorm. Thousands of lives were lost, including those of American soldiers sent to evacuate the city. Today, the city lies buried under sand, the world’s most opulent ruin. Now, a mysterious radio signal is picked-up from Dubai, and a Delta Recon Team is sent to infiltrate the city. Their mission is simple: Locate survivors and radio for Evac. What they find is a city in the grip of war. To save Dubai, they’ll have to find the man at the heart of its madness—Col. John Konrad.

Spec Ops: The Line is an action-packed Third-Person Shooter that delivers heart pounding physically close combat through a squad-based play mechanic. Players lead a team of three characters, Captain Martin Walker, Lieutenant Adams and Sergeant Lugo. Each character has his own distinct personality and specialized skills, and the mature story they each play a role in explores the dark side of war in a realistic way, in which there are no good outcomes, only hard choices. As missions are completed more advanced weapons and equipment are made available. In addition, the desert environment of Dubai is brought into the game in a unique way with stunning visuals, and dynamic sandstorms that actively effect level designs, and which can be used to help and hinder progress. The vertical interiors of Dubai high rise buildings also provide tactical advantages and risks that can used be by players. Multiplayer campaigns bring new modes and unusual situations and environments to expand the single player experience.

Personal Notes:
Two days before the official release, I give you... Spec Ops: The Line
Fully playable, great looking graphics even at very low settings! My relatively old card could go all the way to... Low. But that's still too much, if you actually see how it looks! I wonder what it looks like in very high!

Blinxfrost's wrapper is also included in the downloads. Please state which wrapper you're using before asking for help

For those of you on Mountain Lion having the issue where the icon just bounces forever and does nothing: it has to do with OSX's safeguard feature, where if you download and run something for the first time it pops up an alert asking you if you really want to run the downloaded program.  For whatever reason, it seriously takes 10-15 minutes to pop up the first time you run the app — let it bounce for 15 minutes, and the little window will finally pop up and you can select "open" to let Spec Ops run.

Also, if you're on Mountain Lion you need to download xquartz, or the game still won't work.

granxo: I had the same problem, and hopefully this will help.  The skidrow cracked files are in a folder labeled Binaries, so I had initially just copied the whole Binaries folder into the wrapper and replaced the Binaries folder that was already there.  Don't do this — because of the way that OSX (stupidly) handles replacing/merging folders, you will end up losing a bunch of needed files from the original Binaries folder.

I had to individually select the files inside the Binaries/Win32 folder provided by Skidrow, and then copy them over to inside the Binaries/Win32 folder inside the wrapper.  Don't copy a folder, just copy files.  You should notice that the original Binaries folder has a bunch of other stuff in it besides the cracked files.
Great port guys, really well done, I don have some issues though.

I'm running an imac 3.06ghz i3 12gb Ram, with a ATI Radeon HD 4670 (256mb) so I cant do the mbp integrated switch unfortunately.
With wine 1.5.1 the game lags monstrously on the absolute lowest settings and resolution, completely unplayable.
With 1.4.1 I can run at highest settings with no lag what so ever, the only problem is the mouse issue (which I can tolerate) and more importantly, a lot of graphical glitches. Actor models float around the screen, when facing certain directions portions of the screen, and sometimes the whole screen turn white.
I have found that changing graphics settings in-game removes all the existing glitches, but it doesn't take very long for new ones to start.

If there is anyway to reduce the frequency of these glitches, or eliminate them completely then that would be amazing, everything else about this port is fantastic.
I also have an issue getting this to start - - really appreciate any further help anyone could give me.

I've applied the crack and copied only the files, rather than the entire folder as outlined in a comment above (using the Skidrow release).

Starting up all I get is a blank screen which lingers there and is inescapable without shutting down the MacBook. Is anyone else having this problem? I appear to have all the system requirements.
Using a Nvidia card and such but all I'm getting is a black screen...
No matter how many times I install this, I keep gettiing black screens, could someone help me out?
