Application Description:
Lunar Magic is a level editor created for Super Mario World (SNES). During its 10 year span of being the only level editor available for this classic game, it's inspired the creation of countless modifications of SMW by fans and casual players alike.

Personal Notes:
Lunar Magic requires either the American or Japanese version 1.0 Super Mario World SNES ROM, or the American version 1.0 Mario All Stars + World SNES ROM.

Keep in mind that while game editors are not considered illegal, distribution of commercial game ROMs is. Therefore, the file does not include an actual Super Mario World game ROM. I suggest you check a search engine for other sites that may contain ROMs.

Once you have your rom you can open it anywhere.  For connivence I recommend putting into the Lunar Magic folder inside the wrapper. (Follow the green folders).

To play your newly made rom - you need an emualtor of course. Snes9x is Mac native. There are other opinions of course.

I have also included Lunar IPS - if you run config on the launcher load up in will allow you to run a program to patch roms. Useful for applying Patches such as hacks or translations etc.

Port Info:
Port is with CXE Ivory. Lunar Magic is version 2.01 and Lunar IPS is 1.02
Wineskin Port is Wineskin 2.9 - Wine 1.6 rc-1

link is broken, can you fix it?
Ive just downloaded this on 10.8! I moved the app to a folder, started it up, listened to the tune and then wanted to try it out
I clicked config, it closed the app. Opened it back up, clicked play instead, it also closed the app. Is there a problem?
Agg one eidt
When I click play, there's actually a second window that opens up for like a split second, then it closes. I just froze the app by holding my mouse to see if I was right - here's the screenie of the mentioned window. Since it';s frozen it doens't do anything though!
hope this gets fixed
Hey this will work in 10.7 and below - to make it work in 10.8 follow this guide.

I can add a 10.8 compatible version if you wish.  Send me a Private message and make a request.

Added support for 10.8 on request of user pokerdart9001.

Due to file size I would recommend any user 10.4 Tiger - 10.7 use the CXE port.  Wineskin will work for users of 10.6 + however.
can it be use on 10.9 ?

It should work. Let me know, as it is untested on Mac OS X 10.9.
Lunar magic work fine with me, but lunar ips on it just an alias/shortcut
is this stil workng?
