Call of Duty is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision in 2003. It is the first game in a series with the same name. The game simulates the infantry and combined arms warfare of World War II. The game is based on the Quake III: Team Arena engine. It was accompanied in September 2004 by an unofficial addon, Call of Duty: United Offensive, which was produced by Activision, and developed by Gray Matter Interactive, with contributions from Pi Studios. Call of Duty is similar in theme and gameplay to Medal of Honor, as it is made out of single-player campaigns and missions. However, unlike Medal of Honor, the war is seen not just from the viewpoint of an American soldier but also from the viewpoint of British and Soviet soldiers.

Personal Notes:
Call of Duty Wrapper for Mac OS X. Worked without any issues on my Mid-2010 Macbook Pro. It should also support the expansion pack Call of Duty: United Offensive, although it has not been tested. Provide feedback please! This is my first wrapper! This should work for all graphic cards although I have only tested on Intel HD/NVIDIA GeForce.

My System Specs:
- OS:    10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)
- CPU: Intel Core i7 2.66 GHz
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video:    Intel HD/NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
- Disk Space:   1.4 GB

Known Issues:
No widescreen mode. Note when this is applied, the intro video will not play. This can be fixed by applying a widescreen hack:

This applies to Single Player only. Make all changes in the following file using WordPad or Notepad or TextEdit. Be sure to do a File>Save when you're finished.

C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\Main\config.cfg

For a 16:9 Aspect Ratio Resolution:

seta cg_fov "96.4183" (Changes FOV from default of 80.)
seta r_mode "-1" (Allows custom resolutions to work.)
seta r_customheight "720" (Enter your own "Y Axis" resolution.)
seta r_customwidth "1280" (Enter your own "X Axis" resolution.)
seta com_introplayed "1" (Skips the Activision and Infinity Ward intros. Otherwise, you'll hear sound only.)

For a 16:10 Aspect Ratio Resolution:

seta cg_fov "90.3951" (Changes FOV from default of 80.)
seta r_mode "-1" (Allows custom resolutions to work.)
seta r_customheight "1200" (Enter your own "Y Axis" resolution.)
seta r_customwidth "1920" (Enter your own "X Axis" resolution.)
seta com_introplayed "1" (Skips the Activision and Infinity Ward intros. Otherwise, you'll hear sound only.)

In Multiplayer you can force custom resolutions using the same settings, but it is impossible to increase the default FOV. It will always revert to 80. For this reason, I suggest playing multiplayer at a "normal" 4:3 resolution.

Installation:
1. Extract zip file and copy application to desired location.
2. Show contents on Call of Duty.app
3. Navigate to "drive_c/Program Files/Call of Duty"
4. Copy game contents so that CODSP.exe and CODMP.exe are in the Call of Duty folder.
5. Close and play! :D

Nice choice for a first port.
Thanks :) This port was very easy to make. Thats basically why I did it. I might do Call of Duty 2 next. XD
Great Port. Do cod2 then cod4 then cod8? :D
call of duty 2 already has a native port...
hello, I am a rockie in this world... ;9
Please, I am going to :  3. Navigate to "drive_c/Program Files/Call of Duty"
But I can´t found -->4. Copy game contents so that CODSP.exe and CODMP.exe are in the Call of Duty folder.
Where is in...?
Thanks a lot...
This is a WRAPPER. The game must be downloaded and purchased separately, then the installation files must be placed in the Call of Duty directory.
Nice port!
Can't get this to work. It come up with an OpenGL error.
Great port! Perfect performance on Macbook Pro 13 2011 with 10.8.3!
Thanks!

Note: I recommend to set "smooth mouse" for better gaming! Without this parameter i feel some breaks...

P.S. Sorry for possible errors in text, i'm Russian. =)
PLEASE PLEASE!!! I need help here!! Ive downloaded this game and pre-installed it on a PC, works fine on the PC, but I made a wrapper, followed all of the steps correctly like I've done so many times before with PLENTY other games, started up the game, it asks me if I want to change the settings according to my "new system specs" (obviously being that its now running on the Mac) .. .. It skips everything and goes straight to the main menu, I click on NEW GAME, select a difficulty, and it gets to the loading screen and loads a quarter of the way, then an error appears saying : Error   Cannot Find - 'xanim/panzerfaust_cornercrouchaim_right_15left'.. .. Can anybody please tell of a way to fix this silly problem.. Keep in mind that it works perfectly when I run it on the PC.. .. It gets through the loading screen, asks me to "click to continue" and I can play.. .. Just a silly little error thats preventing me from playing on my Mac.. HELP ASAP PLEASE!!!
Hi, it doesn't unfortunately work with Yosemite. I followed your instructions but when I open the .app files it just opens the program like it's an empty new wineskin file. In other words the game never starts. Can anybody confirm this or is there something I missed? I checked that the start files is CODSP.exe and copied all files as written on this page.
Hi, I confirm tha it doesn't works with Yosemite.
Both files:

- CoDMP.exe
- CoDSP.exe

are taken from the original cds.
It doesnt work for me!
