Payday - The Heist
"This is a downloadable cooperative first-person shooter video game developed by Overkill Software and published by Sony Online Entertainment. It was released on October 18, 2011 for PlayStation 3 in North America and November 2, 2011 in Europe.[5] It was also released on October 20, 2011 for Windows via Steam software in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
It contains seven different missions (including the free No Mercy DLC released on 25 July 2012), with each mission containing random elements which alter the gameplay in subtle ways with the aim of enhancing replayability. On 7 August 2012 the Wolf Pack DLC was released on PS3 and PC. This DLC added two new heists, additional weapons, and a new player upgrade tree.
The game runs on a modified Diesel game engine and is rated M for Mature by the ESRB."

Personal Notes:
I made this wrapper for a request made at DaniIsTheMan's wrapper comments. As far as I know it works perfectly, no graphical glitches or similar things. Multiplayer also works on steam for me.

My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OSx 10.8.2
- CPU:          2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- RAM:               8 GB 1067 DDR3
- Video:               nVidia GeForce 9400M 256 MB
- Disk Space:      9.5 Gb (With the DLC, and I guess it installed the music also, which is 2.7 Gb...)

Known Issues:
None (as far as I know)

Installation:
Install steam using wineskin, then install Payday from it and play. Thats all. Don't know if it work's with other versions.

What's New in Version 1.0 (See full changelog)

  • I made a new port for this on request.

I think everyone can do it for themselfs, but yes, next time I will. It's just I wanted to post this.
I'm having trouble getting the multiplayer to work on Steam. The past 6 lobbys I've tried have allowed me to join up until it comes to choosing a loadout. Then it loses connection to the host or is unable to establish a connection to other players.

Edit: Port works perfectly now. Must've just been my mac.
What the heck is WineSkin! IT WONT LET ME PLAY! PLEASE HELP!
BTW: What do  I do at the Installer place?
We should pay it do install it ??
How do you select steam.exe through the advanced section in wine?
EDIT: I think I got it, had to drag steamsetup.exe to the program files by selecting show package contents in the wrapper
EDIT 2: Now that i got that done, the wrapper is doing updates for steam over and over and its not stopping xD help please
