Described as a true sequel to James Cameron's film, the story of Aliens: Colonial Marines takes place after the events of the second film, Aliens, but sometime during or after the events of Alien 3, as the cryotubes containing Ellen Ripley, Corporal Hicks, Newt, and the android Bishop had ejected from the Sulaco. The story is told through the eyes of Corporal Christopher Winter, a Colonial Marine who is part of a search and rescue team sent to investigate the U.S.S. Sulaco in search of Ellen Ripley, Corporal Dwayne Hicks, and the rest of the missing marines who were dispatched to LV-426. The Sulaco, and the derelict alien spacecraft from Aliens as well as LV-426 itself will all serve as environments in the game, as well as other locations.

Personal Notes:
I ported this through Cluthz CXLionAMD engine. The game appears to work fine and rather smoothly, gameplay will be uploaded soon!

My System Specs:
- OS: OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.2
- CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k @ 4.2GHz
- RAM: 16GB 1600MHz
- Video:    2GB MSI GTX 670 OC Edition
- Disk Space:   7.4GB

Known Issues:
None, although the game has not yet been tested on AMD/ATI or Intel Graphics cards.

Installation:
Right click the wrapper, show package contents and run the steam launcher within the wrapper and update steam. Sign in and download your Aliens: Colonial Marines game.
Exit steam and go into wineskin.app within the wrapper, next to the steam launcher, and click on advanced.
Change the 'Windows EXE' line to: /Program Files/Steam/steam.exe and then exit wineskin.app.

Now, whenever you launch the wrapper, it will sign into steam and allow you to launch your game via your 'Steam Game Library'.

For 'non steam users':
Please note that I do not (in any way) promote piracy and that I highly recommend you PURCHASE the games that you want to play!

Right click the wrapper, show package contents and launch wineskin.app, then select install new software. Locate the setup.exe file (that is within the ISO you probably downloaded) and install the PC files by completing the setup.

-- Don't bother installing directx and vcrun if it asks you too. --

Then, go back into the contents of the wrapper, go to: drive_c ----> Program Files ----> Aliens Colonial Marines (make sure your folder is named EXACTLY this) ----> Binaries ----> Win32 And then apply the 'no-cd crack' that you most likely will be using.

The last step is to launch the wrapper!

It runs great for me, you have an Intel HD 3000 graphics card though so it isn't really at all ideal for gaming.
I got a radeon 5870 and the game lags as hell, even in 1024x768 format !

Hi, the thing works so thank you ! But my mouse appear when I aim the top or the bottom of the screen, an advice ?
I can give the all clear for an Intel HD 4000 card. Looks pretty good so far.

Try changing the resolution that you are playing at. I don't have that problem at 1080p.
works quite well on full max settings on my mac which has intel hd 4000. Thank you!!
Can you make a video on how to do this??
