Download Wrapper Unreal Gold v1.0

- - - - - Please vote for the Quality of this Port / Wrapper, not for the Game or Application!

Unreal Gold consists of Epic MegaGames's 1998 first-person shooter, as well as Return to Na Pali, the first and only mission pack for the game.

In this edition, pressing [Esc] on the keyboard doesn't bring up the games options straight away. Instead, it takes you to another screen with the big UG logo in the center and the menu bar at the top, in which the user can select various options. Support for higher video resolutions is included

Another feature of the game is displayed when a user has entered a new map, telling them what its name is and who designed it.

Another program, UnrealEd, is installed that lets anyone create their own maps.

- OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion)
- 16GB RAM
- 3.4Ghz Intel Core i7
- 1GB nVIDIA GeForce 675MX
- 508MB Disk Space

- If you change resolution, the game won't seem to display properly. However, changing the color depth did the trick for me.
- The frame rate may increase a little bit then slow back down.

1. Register for an account on GOG.com, then purchase and download Unreal Gold.
2. Also download the wrapper from MediaFire; extract it using Archive Utility.
3. Double-click on the wrapper and select 'Install Software'
4. Navigate to the setup file and double-click the file to launch the setup program.
5. Follow the instructions given by the setup program.
6. After installation, make sure the wrapper points to "/Program Files/GOG.com/Unreal Gold/System/Unreal.exe"
7. Launch the game and select from the three modes (Direct3D, OpenGL, or Software Rendering).
8. The game should then work.

1. Right-click the wrapper and choose 'Show Package Contents' from the list.
2. Select Advanced
3. Run the Uninstaller from the Tools tab.
4. Highlight Unreal Gold from the list.
5. Select Modify/Remove.

NOTE: The CrossOver HTML engine is in the list because I initially tested it with the WS8WineCX11.2.0 engine, and attempts to uninstall it have been unsuccessful.
