Aliens vs. Predator, also referred to as Aliens vs. Predator 3 or AVP3 to distinguish it from earlier titles, is a 2010 video game developed by Rebellion and published by SEGA for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a sequel to Aliens versus Predator 2, although it does not have any connection with that game's plot. Instead it charts events on the planetBG-386, where a Weyland-Yutani research team led by Karl Bishop Weyland has discovered a Yautja Pyramid, and is simultaneously studying the Xenomorphs found there and hoping to unlock the advanced technology contained within. The Aliens soon escape, prompting a response from theUnited States Colonial Marine Corps, while the Predators also send three of their members to investigate.

Aliens vs. Predator is the fifth game in the Alien vs. Predator franchise. As with previous titles, it features three campaigns, one for each race/faction (the Predators, the Aliens and the Colonial Marines). These campaigns are separate in terms of individual plot and gameplay, but form one overlapping storyline.

Personal Notes:
Very easy port…I added the Unleashed mod to my version and it runs really smooth.

Tested on:
2011 MacBook Pro
Intel Quad Core i7 @ 2.3GHz
16GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
RadeonHD 6750M w/ 512MB vRAM
Approx. 17GB of HD space required

Known Issues:
The only issue observed was a slightly louder volume of effects compared to everything else. To balance it out turn down the effects slider in the advanced audio options of the game menu.

Installation:
Mount the downloaded disk image
Drag and drop the app to your preferred gaming folder
Install your copy of Aliens vs Predator 2010 in a fresh Wineskin wrapper
Download one from here:
http://www.mediafire...nstaller.tar.7z
Extract the archive from the downloaded file
Double click the app to launch Wineskin and click Install Software
Navigate through the Windows installation panes

Right click on the installation wrapper and navigate to Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/Aliens vs Predator/
Dump the contents of the installation wrapper into the Aliens vs Predator folder located in the same pathway of the wrapper downloaded from the database

The Installation wrapper is not absolutely necessary, it’s just a precaution so as not to write any information to the wrapper files that might change the wrapper configuration.

Hello, I need some help, it i the first time I'm trying to install a ported game into a Mac and I believe that I'm doing something wrong...

0) I have my copy of AVP3 for Windows
1) I got the AVP3 wrapper (dnkwrpr0010[AvP].dmg) from the link in this page
2) I have the latest version of Wineskin installed in my system (Wineskin 2.6.2)
3) I open the .dmg file (the wrapper) and drag the AVP icon ("Aliens Vs. Predator") to my desktop
4) When I double click on this AVP icon, a Wineskin window opens having one of the options "Install software"... and here is where I'm pretty much stuck...

If I click on "Install software" then I'm asked to "Choose Setup Executable"... but when I go to the setup.exe of my copy of AVP3 for Windows, a little Wineskin window appears telling "Wineskin is currently busy. Please wait..." and it stays there forever....

I'm sure I'm missing something, but I'm not able to figure it out
