Download Wrapper Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 1.0

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a 2002 action-adventure game published by Electronic Arts based on J.K. Rowling's novel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the film of the same name.
The game's core gameplay is simple. Taking control of Harry, the player explores Hogwarts castle and grounds. Throughout the course of the game, the player will encounter events that tie into the storyline of the second book. Filling the gaps between these events are various classes, where the player will learn how to fly a broomstick and learn new spells for combating bosses, among other things. Each new spell is accompanied by a challenge, which the player must get through in a certain amount of time to complete that class period. During the later parts of the game, the player will face challenges which are not time-limited and are not related to learning spells. These challenges are all based on events from the book, for example, travelling into the Forbidden Forest and gathering ingredients for a potion Hermione is making.
Personal Notes:
800x600, it's the ideal resolution to set through the start option's menù
Manually, set into the save folder (into your documents folder) the file Game.ini with 32 bit color depth
My System Specs:
- OS: Mac OS X 10.10
- CPU: Core 2 Duo 2,53GHz
- RAM: 6 GB
- Video: nVidia 9800m
- Disk Space: 1,13 GB
Known Issues:
Some little textures glitches during some cutscenes
Installation:
Open the .dmg file you downloaded from here
Move the file "Harry Potter 2.app" to your desktop
Mount the disk image of your game for PC
Launch the "Harry Potter 2.app" and select "Install Software" then "Choose Setup Executable"
Select the file "Autorun.exe" inside the mounted cd image of the game for windows.
Install and wait for finish
It needs the nocd version of the "hp.exe" to substitute inside the installation folder within the wrapper...

mine doesn't show autorun.exe or whatever. I've followed the steps can someone please help me?
yeah how do we access the autorun.exe file?
Yep, there is no autorun.exe file
You need to download an ISO for windows, mount that. And then you can select the 'Autorun.exe' with Wineskin
what do you mean download an iso?

he means you must to have the game for Windows... this it's only the wrapper where you can install the game for windows to be used with mac os X
A wineskin's wrapper it's only an empty container that can run the Windows game for what it was created...
for ISO read this:
http://www.guidingte...burn-iso-files/
if you have an iso image of the game you can mount it with Utility Disc and then you can install the game into the wrapper as explained into the first page of this thread

if after you install the game you cant go past the launcher with only the "quit" button showing, change your screen resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768 or you can use the "virtual desktop" option on the wineskin config with one of these resolutions. also, for me, it only worked using the system "xquartz" instead of wineskinx11.

I second this. The steps I've taken to install the game were:
1 - install Wine
2 - download HP2 (be it torrent or original game)
3 - in the directory search for 'Game.exe' and run it through Wine (as default app for such extensions)
4 - when the initial menu comes up (New Game, Loan Game etc), and if you can ONLY see QUIT (see point 5)
5 - change the screen resolution from the native to a lower one - for commenters above 800x600 or 1024x768 worked. For me (2015 MacBook Air), these also work: 1280x800, 1152x720, 1024x640 and 720x450. You can change the resolution on Macs: System Preferences > Displays > Scale
Hope it helps.

Seems to me you will need to 'crack' the game. Google HP2 crack and download the file (the crack file is a modified .exe file which runs the game under Windows), you will have to swap the downloaded .exe with the one in the game directory and it should work. The directory where the original .exe is located is under the 'system' folder.
