What Cider did you use for this? I have all five of the Painkiller games wrapped up in a slick little Wineskin package. Whenever I tried Cider I got graphical corruption.
5413. Game runs 100%, all the screenshots are from my machine.
Maybe the Black Edition fixes some issues, or maybe it's ATI?
Game runs at all setting maxed with AA and Aniso, v-sync and still 60 FPS stable on my rig!
Could you test it on ati perhaps?

Great!
I already saw you added green danko, thanks!
No worries, by the way it doesn't strictly need to be the Black Edition...I used my port but I had to change the info.plist command executable and folder in order to run the game correctly. I may have to give a new little project a shot (if I ever get the time)...instead of the slick little Wineskin package I may upgrade to Cider!
Great port again!
Great port again!
Doesn't work for me =/ The App has the "broken" icon and it just closes when I click it. I have OS X Lion 7.3.
Thank you, this works great! Though I didn't like your choice of icon

I guessed so
It's too crowded, it may look good at 512x512, but at small icon sizes it gets all mushed into an orange mess. I prefer my icons simpler so they still look good when they aren't at their native size. Here is what I made, anyone can use it if they want:
I have a template for making these GoG-style icons, made it from their Mac version of Crusader: No Remorse. I was thinking about adding the Painkiller label to the icon but it would be hardly readable.

This is probably a stupid question. I'm not sure how to get the game to run with this wrapper. Are there any step by step instructions anywhere on how to use cider? This may simply be me being an idiot, but I do not know how to open the game right now.

I suppose you already have the game?
This is only a wrapper, which needs the PC version of the game to run.
Installing directly into the wrapper only works on 10.6 unfortunately, so if you are on LIon you need to install the game on a PC or with VMWare/parallels or with a wine wrapper,
then you have to move the installed game into the wrapper,
I have Lion and the game through gog. thanks
This port is broken DL'd 3 times followed instructions to the "T" please re-upload a working version
Downloaded the Wrapper and bought the game on GOG. but fails to launch: I have OS Yosemite.
