#81479 what would you do if portingteam shutted down?

Posted by BoomBox on 15 May 2012 - 09:07 AM in General

Unless something happens with paying for the server/software/etc, I doubt PT would go down.

From what I've heard, it practically runs itself :) (or at least most of it does)

#80672 So do any of you guys know C or Cocoa?

I haven't heard anyone call objective-c "-c". Its usually abbreviated as "obj-c"

This is a whole lot better. Plus comes with a free 3 year warranty, and it has a hand cooling system inside the keyboard.

I beg to differ. All the parts have their own warranty, besides. The keyboard I have in the $7k one, you can change every key to a custom one :)

Oh , wow that's expensive
But , I could get the same experience for much less.
Also , I need it dual boot windows and Mac osx and Mac osx doesnt support some of Those parts.
I am looking to build a rig at 1000. - 1500 dollars

You want a fully maxed out gaming experience... get the $3500 one :)

Its a full package, tower, keyboard, mouse, 3 monitors. You're ready to go (once you've put it together)

If you are a actual pc gamer ... You would have a proper gaming pc with a high end graphics card that would be able to handle dx11.
I got rid of my old gaming pc/Hackintosh ( sold it for more then it cost to build :P ) .... i am now looking for parts that will deliver a fully maxed out gaming experience  :D

Want a "fully maxed out gaming experience" build? How much are you planning on spending?

You could get this for about $3500 (US) https://docs.google....cWc&pli=1#gid=0

Or its older brother for about $7500 (US) https://docs.google....=COykx68P#gid=0

They will both handle whatever you want to throw at it for the next 5 years probably. The second is overkill, though. Just depends how much you wish to spend on one :)

#79773 will BO2 be portable?

IF Wine supports DirectX 10/11 in the next 12 months (and thats a big IF), OpenGL 4 support on OS X is unlikely in that timeframe. Emulating DirectX 11 under OpenGL 3.2 = horrible (the OpenGL 4.x standard has been out for a while now).

Posted by BoomBox on 29 December 2011 - 02:26 AM in Report website problems

I think its because its tryin to get the images from http://portingteam.c...es/download.png , the directory exists but the download.png doesnt. Same goes for the linksave image (the tag isn't working though) :)

#70791 Cider 7211 (Psychonauts Steam)

Posted by BoomBox on 23 December 2011 - 12:10 AM in Cider Wrappers

Brought the game when it was $2.50, finished downloading it last night, and this is its cider wrapper.

I dont think its usable, unless you can strip the Steam stuff from it..

Have fun!
