Hi everyone, hoping someone here will be able to help me out! I am having major issues while trying to build engines using Wineskin Winery. GCC4.2 keeps failing and it won't even start the process

Can someone please compile this engine for me so I can stop pulling out my hair!!!!

It's already been patched and totally ready to be built by WineskinWinery. Please help me someone!

Nevermind...command line tools was not already part of the XCode 6.1.1 package and not visible for download in the preferences/downloads window. The extra resources need to be downloaded directly from the apple developers page...my bad.

Glad you solved it :).

How is the engine working? Anything solved that you used to have problems with?

Naw, unfortunately it didn't help. I'm trying to port the FakeFactory HL2 Cinematic Mod 2013 and there seems to be a memory leak but I have a patched CX13 engine that runs it fine although there is an issue with a thin diagonal line that forms on the screen. It's really quite annoying and the performance is less desirable than what I'd prefer. If I knew of a cider wrapper with vcrun2010 built in I try to port it using that.

edit...I was having issues with the CX engine and successfully built a patched 1.7.33...the CX build failed while building programs/winedbg for some reason (I'm guessing something was changed in the CX source) I decided to to switch out the CX14.0.3 wine/programs/winedbg folder for that of 1.7.33 and the build finished successfully....about to give it a go....hope the performance is better!

No dice! But it works better on my 17GB, heavily modded Fallout 3!!!

Well that's something to show for your efforts.. I'll try the CX14 engine on my moderately modded Skyrim when I get home :).

I used the CX14 engine on my Skyrim and it works very well. I just have one gripe: with the Wine 1.7.24 engine with multithreaded rendering, I could cmd-tab out of my Wine application without problem. Now with the CX14 engine, I briefly land on my desktop, and then a minimised app window pops out of the dock and I am in fullscreen mode again. I tried to set WindowsFloatWhenInactive to none in the registry, but that didn't help :(. Would anyone have a suggestion on how to handle that?

I managed to compile CX14.0.3 as a wineskin engine.  I used the patches from the macports port to get it to compile.

This version works, thanks! While official release 1.7.36 not.

I also tried compile 1.7.36 from git.
System OSX10.7.5, XCode 4.4.1
Installed llvm-gcc4.2 by macport. AFAIK it is only working compiler for this project.
Installed dependencies.
./configure --prefix=/opt/local CC=llvm-gcc
make
sudo make install
Then I gathered files into wswine.bundle. No, it is not working...

Tell me, please, what tricks else I should apply?
Where can I get patches to sources?
