Same issue with ATI Card, black screen, but with sound.

When run from Parallels, it is slow, but working.

I got it working now on 2 different machines. Nvidia

What did the thing for me using getting a different release
Spoiler
since this one is without Steam.
And using WMWARE to install the Game.

What i would like is a way to play Special Ops on LAN - Is that something anyone has ideas on?

Thank you.  Crossover 8.1 was unable to install COD:MW2 SKiDROW.  Used VMWare Fusion 3 to install on windows side. and this cider wrapper MW2 is running very smooth.  I am actually extremely impressed with how smooth it is running.

Running on Hackintosh Vanilla Snow Leopard 10.6.2, Intel E8400 core 2 duo, 8 gig DDR2, 9600GT.

Great game, great port.

I've managed to launch and play without glitches from the STEAM client downloaded here, adding it as a "non-steam" game and launching it.

Thought you should know!

ATi Problem people - I may have a fix! Ok. Go into .app/Contents/Recourses/Preferences and open up "config". Find the line "VertexShaders" and change Y to N.

Report back your findings!

Any new solution for ATI people? I am wondering why so many games ported with crossover or wine don't work with ATI... a lot of people have ATI!

EDIT:

mmhh.. this game definitely deserves that:

I successfully installed the Cider port on a 3.06GHz Intel with Nvidia and 10.5.8.

The controls lag, even when I set all the options to their minimums.  Can someone give me some help, or point me to a build that will work properly with the computer setup I have?

Thanks in advance!
