The process of using Garmin Updater is pretty simple if you have already used it earlier. In case you are new with the Garmin map Updater then you need to be a bit cautious while using this application. To begin with, you will have to create a backup of the GPX folder on your computer to avoid missing the waypoints while downloading. Once done, now you are safe to use the Map Updater. Firstly, remove the micro SD card from a GPS device and connect it to the computer. Make sure your system is connected to a fast speed and stable internet connection. Now you need to install the launcher.exe file on your computer, keep following the instructions and click ok when your GPS model is detected by the map updater. Once you see the list of items that need to be updated, click update and then click exit when the process gets completed. Now you may disconnect your Garmin GPS from the computer and connect it back to your vehicle.
