I really can't figure out how I can save my game. If I save ingame when I restart the save is gone. I put the NDS to FLASH 512 KBytes. Didn't help. And when I right mouse click and save state it creates a .sna file. If I open that with load state it crashes. The game I'm playing is Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

So how to save?

EDIT: NVM I changed it back to auto and now I can load again.

almost every Game needs a different save rom type.
Experiment around a bit to see what works.
either that, or google around a bit to see what saverom the game has.

It works with auto, but you really have to exit the program. If you do command Q the saves are lost somehow.

Not all NDS Games save with auto, some are pretty demanding and require the right sram.
Yeah, savestates are created after some time, and when you exit over the windows app they are created instantly.
If you exit with command Q however...
I might as well add that into the description.
