shouldn't be impossible. unless it depends on a lot of windows stuff.. it being Halo, i guess it would.

Halo 2 is vista only, the cracked xp version sucks and it requires games for windows live.

So it is impossible at all.

Halo 1 is available native for mac if any of you are interested.  Unfortunately, you can't buy it.  Halo 1 and 2 are practically the same gameplay though, but I think Halo 1 was a lot more fun.

when i tried to install via crossover, using the default windows XP bottle, the installer said i needed vista or above to run. so i created a vista bottle, but it didn't even open then. I ended up giving it to a friend to install. when i got the installed files, i tried the above again, and got the same result. but as i have very little exp with porting, there are many things i won't of tried. i tried using crossover games 8.

According to random strangers on the internet, apparently *someone* has gotten H2 working on crossover 8.0.0 (Crossover also says that H2 has a bronze ranking on 8.0.0 but there's no info about it really).

It seems like you need to try with the XP hack.

I haven't got this game nor played it before yet.
