I will go out on a limb and say it will not be avaible on steam - to my knowlege no transgaming cider ports are on Steam. -

I also believe only native ports are on steam.

There are very few cider ports on Steam. They are only there because of... some reasons, I don't know. But most cider ports never get there, so don't wait for anything, jbellanca.

MacWorld just released a hands-on preview of Dragon Age II. And just in case you didn’t want to download the digital version of DA2, all boxed copies of the PC edition can also be installed on a Mac.

Regarding a steam version.....

Daniel Lazin, an editor at Bioware, and he explained how dedicated the developer is to the Mac community.

“Dragon Age 2 is on the same disc as the PC [version]. You buy one version, you get both.” Lazin explained that this was a major effort by the Bioware community, as he personally was sick of having to buy games for multiple platforms. Developers like Blizzard have been launching their games simultaneously on both Mac and Windows using hybrid discs for years, but so far Blizzard been the exception, not the rule. It’s extremely encouraging that Bioware is beginning to follow suit. For those who don’t want to buy a physical copy and plan instead on downloading the game, there are Mac specific download sites that one can download the game from. Curiously, Lazin admits, “There is no Mac Steam version.…yet.”

If Transgaming and VALVe agrees on how to split the money then yep there'll be a steam version.

EA 90 % Profit - Bioware 6 % Profit - Transgaming 2 % - Valve 1 % - Portingteam 1%

Haa in the wrapper (5413) inside there is a "ReadMe" file that the minimum requires is 10.6.6...it may be loaded on the Mac App Store?  :)

Having just gotten and installed DA2 on my mac, I have to say seeing this post here (alerting me to the mac port) was simply amazing!

Having said that, I'm having a strange graphical error with the HP/Stamina/Mana bars in the game. No so much to the point that that are unusable, but its enough of a pain that I have to pause the game and mouse over my hp bars until the actual numbers show up.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I figured I would ask you lot since your all porting pros :)
