Hi, I am trying to install a game with CXEx, but whenever i select setup.exe, something tries to open in the dock, then immediately closes. Here is my console output:

I'm guessing its calling osascript to launch AppleScript code.

Adobe stuff you have installed screwed up your osascript... and doesn't have the right i386 version any more.

Try using the update here...

Does the Wrapper start up by itself without installing anything in it?

Also your Profile fields are remarkably empty...

Dev:

CXE installer broke from me when I updated CXEx Central today.

CXEx Central works fine - minus the installer.

Investigating as too why right now.

I see the problem, has something to do with switching the nibs.
Weird, didn't touch the installer code in the last update.

Will be fixed with the next update (today maybe)

Ah, now i know.

Only when the Launcher was selected in a wrapper, the code doesn't switch back to the main menu.
With the Launcher set to off, everything works as intended.

Update coming...

So I also found that after the update it broke The CXEx Porter. I get a message about Porter package not installed.

I reinstalled the Porter Package. The CXExPorter works now along with the CXEx Central installer.

I designed Central so that it removes everything CXEx Porter related, including support files and app, but not engines.

upon launching Central it should remove everything CXEx Porter related again if you installed that package again.
If both work, then central can't remove the porter files ( why ever), and most likely you will get some errors with a few things in central...

Ah okay - never realized that.

And your right - after running CXE Central again - The CXE Porter does not work - nor does the installer.
