This is a game that I would love to have that no one seems to have ported to mac. Anyone who can port this would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,
mknox

I've got version II ported and I'm uploading it now. I'll try and find number one and do that too. Looks like quite a good game.

Number Two:

I noticed that 2 works easily through crossover so I thought that that should be easy to port.

Empire Earth 1: Things I have noticed
- It doesn't work through crossover
- To make it even get through the introduction movies/videos you must have all the registry values installed and it must be a Microsoft office bottle

Any help would be appriciated,

mknox

Here're the problems - it looks like it's asking for lots of DLL files that aren't around. I've googled the names of most of them and they are around on the internet - I just have no idea where they go in relation to the game. I'm a mac user not a PC user so have no idea about DLLs and dylibs.

to get past the msvcp60.dll errors download msvcp60.dll and put it into the c:\windows\system32\ folder

some other interesting useful information from winehq:
http://appdb.winehq.... ... n&iId=2174

change the value in the registry located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SSSI\Empire Earth\Music Enabled to 0

thanks

I definitely want the original Empire Earth and it's expansion pack, the Art of Conquest.

Two of the greatest games ever.

Kinda old, so shouldn't be too hard, right?

if you look at winehq the rating for these games is garbage. i have only managed to get the game to the menu.
