Something new here, and its emulating a current Generation Console. (And that other Cube thing  8)  )
The Wii. Small, white, fun to play, you know that thing.
zeroWii is a Wrapper for Dolphin, a work-in-progress but capable Emulator on Windows.

This is a highly experimental build, but it works really good if you have a compatible Game, and set the hacks and settings right.

I currently have two Wii Games, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" and "The Legend of Sayuki ".
Both work good, with the occasional slowdown in Sayuki and no Sound and some minor graphical Bugs in Zelda. (I'm sure there are tweaks for that)

I have not tested this for long, so i can't really give you any help in configuring it, but you can check out the Dolphin Forums if you need some help in getting a specific Game working, or you can check out the Compatibility List below.
Gonna check this Emu out more when i have some more time. In the meantime play around a bit with it.

Due to the nature of emulating a current Generation Console, you need a good CPU and Graphics Card for this Emu, so i'd advise GMA users to stay clear.

Update: updated Dolphin in the Wrapper to 3972 (most recent one) haven't got the time to test it for new stuff, but i heard it got better since a few updates ago. might give this a spin.
Remember to delete your zeroWII folder in username/Library/Application Support, or the new build doesn't work.

please launch the mac os unix executable in the terminal.
(zeroWii -> show package contents /Contents/MacOS/)

I think it may be from updating x11, some other things don't work in darwine after I updated...

Edit: Yeah I'm pretty sure it's X11, none of my other ports want to work.
Which version should I use?

definitely X11, all CrossOver Wrappers are not compatible with XQuartz 2.3.x.x
(Known Bug)
try to uninstall XQuartz and reinstall an older one, or try to over-install an older one.

For me I have a problem where it hangs on startup when it says "Loading" on the windows and the screen is totally black. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm pretty sure you  just need macports.

ModFoX is right all you need is macport with a few requuirements installed ill post command for thatwhen i uplod it

yo are you able to get this working with the wii remote? I know the wii remote and nunchuk work on macbooks (I've used it as a mouse yesterday for fun). Does this app support it?

No, only as a keyboard if you remap the buttons to it with USB Overdrive, Controllermate or the like.

Remember, CrossOver is dumb, and doesn't support Gamepads, DVD Drives, USB and all the other low-level functions the like.

Alright, not a bad idea, I have an app that can rewrite the keys when pressed on the wii controller, and the pointer just controls the mouse. This could get interesting when put together :D

Great port btw, works like a charm.

yeah, kind of slow on wii games, but works really good with GC games.
