So today I went to go update mafia 2 to a lion workable wrapper and so I clicked on the ebony engine and installed it but when I go to click create wrapper a flag comes up and says something went wrong would you like to delete the engine and redownload. Still happens every time I download the engine. How do I fix this.

Reinstall CXEx? If that doesn't work, then maybe try using a different engine.

its because I'm on a slow connection and the downloading of the engine times out and doesn't download full but cxex shows that the engine is there but its not all there

So delete the engine files and have it reinstall them. Or delete all files related to CXEx and reinstall CXEx, and try downloading the engines and stuff again.

oh, sorry. Um... you might want to get the engine files, if possible, from another computer, possibly from a friends computer. If you could "borrow" his computer, then you could install CXEx and install the engine files, then copy them onto a flash drive and move them to your computer. It might not be the best method, but it might work.

I am the only one in my area that uses this forum most of my friends are pc gamers while I sit on the fence between both pc and mac gaming but I have pm'd devilhunter the creator of CXEx about maybe getting my hands on the links for the engines but I haven't heard anything yet but if I have to pull apart the program to find the url's I will but probably wont do that as I use wineskin more but I just want to use cxex to update my mafia 2 port instead of having to fiddle again to get it working
