Is there a config file in the Halo 2 program files directory? If so, you can probably change the graphical settings there.
If not, it looks like you can make changes via command line arguments. That's for Halo 1, but it might work for Halo 2 as well. Worth a shot!
I'm not entirely sure how to do CMD line arguments in Cider. I know CiderX has support for it, so maybe you could ask Drakulix if no one else knows.
P.S. I moved the topic to the Ask For Help (Game Ports) section.

[appdefaults\\GAME\\transgaming]
;;"cmdlineadd" = "arguments"
example... from my personal Doom 3 port:
[appdefaults\\doom3.exe\\transgaming]
;;"cmdlineadd" = "+set fs_game d3xp"
;;"cmdlineadd" = "+set fs_game Phantasm_Beyond"
"cmdlineadd" = "+set fs_game sikkmod"
The commented lines are so I can have different mods installed and just switch between them my commenting\uncommenting.
It's funny how the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on the screen.

Mac OS X
Version 10.6.8
I'm new to this stuff.
If you could make a Cracked version for my type of Mac, please notify me if it's possible, it would be so helpful, I've been looking for a working Halo 2 for AGES.
If you could help me through this, possibly a tutorial on how to make this work, please tell me.
I hope this isn't too much to ask, I mean you wouldn't be helping JUST me, you would be helping many.
PS: thedoctor45 and wMin17? Thanks for porting this, you guys are awesome.

I sure do hope there is a fix for it, I've been searching since I was 7.
I only found it yesterday, at the age of 12, that's a long time searching.
But if you could find one, that would be great, I've been searching for five years, at least ten days of every month searching for Halo 2.
I'll search for a fix, if there is one...
I'm a bit "lost" in this whole porting thing, it's just I'm new to this, I've always loved Halo 2

Thanks for Porting this.

Take the shot cmd-shift-3 and upload the pic that appears on your desktop to a site like imageshack. Then, post the url they give you here.
