Porting Request:
I was planning to wait the final release of the game to post a request but I couldn't watch the gameplay vids of the demo anymore without touching the thing! It looks gorgeous, it's fast like hell, and it's free-to-play.
What more can we ask for?

Game Description:
Tribes: Ascend is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer-only first-person shooter part of the Tribes franchise. It is currently being developed by Hi-Rez Studios and was announced on March 11, 2011 at PAX East with an expected release in early 2012. It will be available as a digital download for Microsoft Windows, though Hi-Rez Studios haven't ruled out the possibility of an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 release in the future. Iconic aspects from previous Tribes games such as jetpacks and skiing will be featured in the game.[1] Currently, the game is available to play in the form of an open beta. (wiki)

AppDB Link:
http://appdb.winehq....rsion&iId=24763

AppDB Rating:
Garbage (not tested on mac tho)

The game will be released the 12th April 2012 but you can already download the beta version on the official website. The game is avaiblable here! Thank you and enjoy the run!

I'm kind of a newbie on wineksin, could you please tell me how you configured it to be able to install the game? Could it be possible for you to create a wrapper?
Thanks again! :)

Asking blinx to port a game is like giving Bernie Madoff all your money and telling him "don't steal, just bring me back $20 million".

So how did you do it?
It just gives the "Failed to start the Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service" error here. :(

The game will be officially released tomorrow. Considering that some of you had the chance to get it working, it would be great to have a port to celebrate it and make everyone discover the beast! :)

A port for this would be great! Seeing as it was released today, it probably wouldn't take too long to get one up. Here's hoping for the best!
