Would it be possible to be able to recast votes in Port DB?
Many porters use a lot of time to polish their ports and when issues are reported and fixed the port could deserve a much better rating.

At the moment I've given a few ports some lower ratings, but some of them are now fixed and deserve a better rating that I've initially given it.
If i try to give a port I've already voted on a higher rating, then I'm getting a message that says I've already voted.

I'm pretty sure other would like this too, because If a port initially lacked f.ex multiplayer, then the port didn't deserve 5 start, but if the porter updates it, then I would rate it 5, etc... you get my point..

I thought users could re-vote in the PDB.
After looking at things, it seems only mods and above are allowed to re-vote.

After searching around bit, some people already suggested this to IPB, see the last post here (confirmation by a dev on the next page)
If this does not get added in in the next IP update by them (which should be coming shortly), we'll be looking of adding it on our own for the PDB.

I've looked around a bit and found this:

A minor enhancement to the existing rating system, you will now be able to re-rate files as of IP.Downloads 2.5, if your group permissions allow for it. This means if you rate a file you downloaded a 4, for example, and the author improves the file, you can re-rate the file a 5 when the new version is released.
To my understanding, you can rate a file only once at version 1 for example. When the Porter updates his file to version 1.1, you can rate this version again.

I, in fact updated Mass Effect today and came across an issue regarding something along this line....how do I confirm it as a new update....when I add new lines to the change log it doesn't recognize it as a new version....what is the process to create a new change log? Maybe I just didn't didn't look hard enough but I was intending to bring this up at some point.

if you have posted 1.1 the last time, write 1.2 in the version field and what's new into the bigger box, that should change it

Hello!
I've tried to recast votes, and it's still not working.
Kingdoms of Amalur was updated to 1.2.15 to 1.2.15-1 and I still can't recast.
There was also added a new change logs entry.

Noted.
There are currently a few other problems here that need an urgent fix, but we won't forget about this one.

Okay so I fixed this and it should be working now.

However remember we have a "work in progress" section and more people should use it.
