its currently in beta, but why not get a head start? i have access to it but you guys can too with a beta key

the system requirements are pretty low, so it should be no problem in terms of performance

Game Description:
World takes on the gameplay style of Most Wantedand Carbon, focusing on illegal street racing, tuning and police chases, and adds classic MMO elements to the mix such as special abilities. The game currently features 76 licensed cars consisting of tuners, muscle cars and exotics.

Ive had the beta for about a month now. They have only just gone into the open-beta. I recommend anyone who is a NFS fan, go and get it.

hm i never actually installed NFS:world, but what framework? as long as its below 3.5 it should work fine right?

give him a break will ya? did u try porting the game yourself? appdb gave it a garbage rating so it is unlikely that it would work with CXZ or Wineskin...

i wouldnt really worry if its too buggy. its still a beta release, hopefully itll be easier to port once its finished development

Its usually easier to port betas, because they have less protections and whatnot. ( like the iPhone OS, no protection whatsoever on the betas )

Usually online works. Its just most of us use cracked versions of the game, thus we use the cracked servers.

But online play should work fine, Well the beta should anyway, Thats if we get it to a playable state.

installing with wine tricks doesn't fix any problems, it still leaves the game almost unplayable

I've fixed most of the bugs, disappearing mouse, freezing after races/start, updater fails. if anyone would like it to be ported just ask

Im using paulthetall port from his page and it has very good performance so far, but it has the bugs that you mentioned, freezing after races, updater fails, can you port this incredible game please?

Yeah, he is great, but we need a totally functional port, paul the tall versión has bugs and maybe someone can help him fix them.

Im been playing nfs world for a while now and i think is a game that will stay, because it has formed a comutity with friends and gropus, really rare for a driving game.
