Senduit.com is great if you want to send something to just one person and want it auto-deleted quickly

mediafire - fastest and free. though i do prefer rapidshare over the long run with a premium account due to less of a chance of file removal.

Yup, it's gotta be Mediafire, cuz it doesn't have waiting times... then its Megaupload as that has more files and its fast.  I used to love rapidshare but now it has so many errors that I stopped using it.

I don't want to pay for downloads so rapidshare just sucks. I have to wait about 15 min to get a download ticked with JDownloader!

My favorite sites are megaupload and mediafire.

I like very much fileshare.ro . It's free and no countdown timer. the only downside is that it only supports file up to 100Mb.

Filefront is fast and reliable.  I also don't get prompted to subscribe to use it or wait to download.  Rapidshare is okay but can be slow and the waiting can be annoying.  Mediafire is my second favorite, but you need another site to find out what files are on it.

rapidshare. i don't have a premium acc, but i don't have any problems with it at all. mediafire is blocked in stupid china, and hotfile takes second. megaupload is probably third, but ugotfile is good too

Well it depends what kind of file hosting are you looking for. Do you just want a place to store files as to access them later or are you looking for a website host? Rapidshare.com is one of the best file hosting services out there, they have certain limitations when it comes to free users but its a great site that has been running for years.

I use MediaFire for downloading and MegaUpload for uploading. The best combo!

MediaFire doesn't delete Files, as long as you log in with your account once every 3 Months.
Megaupload is pretty trigger happy for popular files as i found out multiple times for myself, but MediaFire is a Slacker in this department. But there is the annoying random file corruption problem on MF...
