which engine and Wineskin version are you using - give a bit more info please.
It must be pretty old since the 1.4 build of Wine has an implementation for the DIB engine included which should prevent these DirectDraw related performance bugs from happening.

If you're on an nVidia Mac you might also try adding:

[Software\\Wine\\Direct3D] 1277303423

to the user.reg file in Wineskin.app/Contents/resources/

good luck

Or it could be your graphics card.  It might be too weak to run the game.

So I wonder which mac meets the following requirements?:-) Weak hardware that specifically tested it is not.Grafics card Intel GMA X1600 Ata and 256 megabytes.
Similar pores of the game in which the editor claims to have no problem going the same defect.
Tested on iMac 2011 and 2011 MBP also without result, the mouse still does delay animation and cutting video games.
Wine version is 1.4.Když I port the State of War (Czech SCiFi strategy) I had the same problem, fortunately I managed to disable the hardware in silicon kurzor.V CC I never found such a possibility
