Antichamber (originally known as Hazard: The Journey of Life)[2] is a single-player first-person puzzle-platform video game developed by Alexander Bruce. The game was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows on January 31, 2013.[3]

In Antichamber, the player controls the unnamed protagonist from a first-person perspective[4] as they wander through non-Euclidean levels.[2] Regarding typical notions of Euclidean space, Bruce has stated that "breaking down all those expectations and then remaking them is essentially the core mechanic of the game".[4]

Yes please, this game looks amazing and all of my attempts to use Wine have failed miserably. Don't make me infect my computer with microsoft just to play this game... A port would be much appreciated!

I've tried a few different ports with no luck. It allows an install in wine, but when opened I just get nothing. Anyone else get better results.

That game is made with Unreal Engine 3. (it's possible to run natively on OSX but there are no plans for OSX version.)

oh lol, that sure looks like Antichamber! For some odd reason Antichamber won't launch.

Edit: I've done some troubleshooting. Antichamber needs some dlls that winetricks doesn't have. It alos requires a dx11 dll.

You can download it from here.... http://www.dll-files....zip?0WIjW0aKfW

I was hoping that Mono would be enough to launch this game, but it seems to require more from .Net than Mono can provide. The instructions at AppDB say that an install of dot net 3.5 and 4.0 is required but I haven't been able to get past 3.0

SAME. I can't install .Net 4.0 and 3.5 for some reason. I've got everything done but get the .Net framework installed. I've given my wrapper to DanIsTheMan to check it out. I though i was just having a problem with my wineskin because i couldn't install .net 4.0 and 3.5.

Antichamber needs the following dlls which i've installed:
mscoree.dll, xapofx1_5.dll and x3daudio1_7.dll

So, whenever i test run my port, i get this, " A fatal error has occurred. However, mscorees.dll could not be loaded to display the appropriate error message. Please reinstall the .net framework."

So i do try.

In Winetricks, i try to install dotnet40.

I get a message, " The application cannot find one of its required files, possibly because it was unable to create it in the folder. Please make sure that the folder in which this application was downloaded is accessibly and read only."

Edit: I got the game to launch. Just that nothing happens and theres a black screen.
